This is by far the most comprehensive demonstration on Youtube. ( Most of the other ones are plain stupid )
It goes trough all the logical Steps ( Apart from material collection ), explains the physics involved and also gives you a good Idea about the difficulty of this skill.
In a situation without Flintbar the first asset would probably a clear mind, calm attitude and patience.

You can also manually spin it with your hands just that it takes a whole lot more effort.

Nice video, I have a problem with fire making by a drill bow. I get a lot of smoke but my dust isn't smoking.
