  • Isn't coconut oil suposed to make you break out?

  • @TheBananaList No actually it usually doesn't.

  • Is someone holding the camera? It's pretty shaky. Maybe a tripod would help? Anyway, just found your videos! Great tips!

  • Where do you buy your coconut oil. All I can find is the coconut milk which I do like for masks but I can't find any oil.

  • @mrs60736 I buy it at the health food store.

  • @mrs60736 try your local Indo/Pak grocer. Indians and Pakistanis use it in their cooking all the time, so it's a bit cheaper. You can usually get a jar or bottle for less than $10.

  • the baking soda was very harsh on my skin. It itches nad burns right now.. Maybe Its not for everyone? Or do I have to just wait to get used to it? Maybe theres a gentler altarnative?

  • @tedoymisojos Did you mix it with water before putting it on and rinse it immediately after? It's basically like a facial scrub. Maybe there is something in it that your skin can't handle.

  • If I use castor oil/Evoo, should I still follow wiith the baking soda?

  • @tedoymisojos I would with any oil - it returns the natural ph balance to your skin.

  • how long does your routine take you all together?

  • @JustxDannie The entire routine took me 10 to 30 minutes - depending on how long I leave the honey and milk mask on for.

  • @xdaysx You are using the lotion as a cleansing cream, so rinsing it off insn't reversing anything. You can't leave the oil on because it would clog your pores. All the baking soda does is remove excess oil. It's actually not drying at all.

  • I think you answered my question before about your skin care and how you use the lotion. I cant wait to try this! I was using the Merle Norman Cleansing Cream and it seems like the same type of product. I will let you know what I think. Thanks for the video

  • @bloglicious You'll love it. Your skin will feel amazing.

  • kool

  • @cynthia11898 I'm glad you liked it.

  • I love this I keep going back to the lubrederm method I use the sensitive skin one

  • @xoxoshorteexoxo I've tried other things over the years, but I always wind up going back to Lubriderm too.

  • 1- HONEY

and thank u princessPinkCat for ur videos

  • Thanks! I'm really glad you liked it!

  • love your videos! what kind of sunscreen do you use? thanks

  • I don't really pay much attention to brand as long as it's 60 SPF.

  • what lubaderm is that I mean they have different kinds so what is it called

  • It's the original one with the blue on the bottle

  • ARE U SERiOUS!!? LOL

  • Yes... of course...why do you ask?

  • Wow! I've heard of the OCM but never seen anyone do it! Does it have to be virgin coconut oil or can you use other unrefined oils like virgin olive oil, or almond oil, for example? Many thanks Tima x

  • You can use any kind of oil you want. I've never done it with olive oil, but a lot of women do. I have done it with Almond oil, and it does an amazing job. A lot of women also like to use jojoba oil. I just prefer to use virgin coconut oil because it's what I have on hand - and it's also the only oil that actually penetrates the skin and repairs damage.

  • could u use cocoa butter 'cuz I have like a ton of tht and I really wanna use it more tha I do

  • Cocoa butter could be used as moisturizer but I think it would be too thick to use as a cleanser.

  • that's very interesting. i've never heard of this. i'm not sure how it'll work on my skin, though. body lotion on my face tends to be oily. and coconut oil seems like it would also be oily on my skin. hmm.. =/ great video, though!

  • I have combination skin and using lubriderm to wash my face has actually helped with the oil. Regarding the coconut oil - remember that oil dissolves oil - so it's going to pull the oil out of your pores.

  • i will try this

  • Let me know how it works out for you!

  • can you use only coconut oil too? i don't wear make-up and i don't have baking soda.

  • You could use only coconut oil, but the baking soda returns your skin to it's natural ph levels - it would be very important to follow up with baking soda or something that would remove any oil residue.

  • i need to stack up on this stuff:)

  • I never knew you could use moisturizer to remove make up and clean your face. it's genius

  • It works amazingly well, and it doesn't dry your skin out like soap and cleansers.

  • Wow i wish i'd known that moisturizer removes makeup last night.... i drew stuff ALL over my face with face paint and it took me forever to get off! (and i still have sparkles on my eyes lol)

  • I don't know about all moisturizers, but Lubriderm is amazing. It removes even the most caked on eye makeup...seriously...

  • oh my gosh ive got to go buy that :D

  • I just don't understand how hand and body lotion 'cleans' your face. Moisturize, yes, but clean? Hmm.

  • It does, believe it or not. It does an amazing job at removing makeup and general cleansing. I've been using it since I was 15.

  • i really like the products you use.

    ill try some :D

  • Super. Let me know how it works out for you!

  • i'll def. try it later

  • Cool! Let me know how it works out for you!

  • wow very interesting regimen.. i will definitely try a few of these things out

  • Let me know how it works out for you!

  • Do you know if it would be in like the bath body face area or the food area?

  • Probably in the health food area... but it could be in the other area... just make sure you read the label to make sure you are getting pure virgin coconut oil with no additives.

  • I would have thought oil with oil, it's probably cause you use it but then take it off right? Lol anyway where did you get the coconut oil? I would love that because it's good for your face and I love the smell of it too!!!!!

  • Oil disolves oil, and then the baking soda clarifies and removes any excess oil. Unless I want to go to the city I have to buy it at my local health food store. I have heard Walmart also sells it, but we don't have a Walmart around here.

  • thanks for sharing this - I sooo have to try to find some coconut oil here in Switzerland - health food store here I come!

  • I hope you're able to find it... I imagine they must sell it there...

  • oh and does it have to be virgin coconut oil?, thanks again!!

  • Yes, you should definitely use virgin coconut oil because it's unrefined and doesn't have additives in it - it penetrates the skin much better.

  • I should really try the coconut cleansing method, can it helps reduce oil in my skin?...and can I use just any brand of baking soda?..thanks a lot and great video!!

  • Yes, oil disolves oil so it will definitely reduce the oil in your skin. Yes, any brand of baking soda will work fine.

  • i should try this

  • thank u sooo much! im going to try this! just quick question where did u get that coconut oil?

  • I bought it at a health food store, only because that's the only place in my town to get it and I wasn't going to the city any time soon... I've heard they sell it at walmart and other places as well.

  • these are really good and afordable tips! haha and i bet they work much better than alot of this high retailer stuff!! =)

  • Thanks! I think they do!

  • Hey pinky...I am definitely going to try this even tho you know Ive mentioned before that I produce crisco! Ive used olive oil on my face before and that has not broken me out. I use it to remove makeup sometimes. I will try this as well, now the coconut oil you use all natural? no added parabens?

  • Hi Cookie! yes, the coconut oil I use is virgin coconut oil - it's all natural. You will be surprised at how much thinner than olive oil the coconut oil is.

  • Thank you so much for the tips

  • You're very welcome!

  • Nice tips... I don't know if I can use this method thought because I have a very oily skin...

  • The oil cleansing method works well with very oily skin too. Oil disolves oil and the coconut oil will help get the oil out of your skin and unclog your pores. Make sure you use Virgin coconut oil though.

  • thanks for this video! im gunna try this...can i get the coconut oil at shoppers drug mart?

  • You might be able to... I'm not sure...

  • ok i'll go see anyways...thanks! ily!

  • Love this video!

  • Thanks!

  • You are so charming, and it's just so obvious in this video :D

I think I might be able to use some of this, so thank you :)

  • rubbing creates wrinkles well ill never do that again thanks for that tip lol

  • It does over time... never rub your face or your eyes

  • i think you look fine without makeup and you dont need to apologise!

  • Thanks - it's very sweet of you to say that!
