@ulsig95 depends what heatsink you're getting. the standard heatsink will pop right off when you unlock[unscrew] the 4 push-pins. high-quality heatsinks may require a bracket that must be placed on the back of the motherboard in order to support the massive weight of said heatsink. so, in short, if your new heatsink has a backing...yes, you will need to take out your motherboard.

A couple things I really like about this case is that the PSU is on the bottom and you can mount it either way. Corsair had genius with the 800D because there's a vent on the bottom of the case for the PSU fan, so the air going thru the PSU never enters the case.

@thehill251 sure will. however it'l keep you from putting a HDD in one of the slots. but there are 6 HDD slots so I think you'll be good. btw, you'll have to take off that HDD fan for it to fit.

if you read the annotations, the case shown in this video has not been modded at all. you can easily route cables through those pre-drilled hole. just get cable ties from the fruit section at safeway and you'll be good.

Hmmm, i advice you to get the Antec 902... the updated 900... it's black inside, which looks way better. It just looks better. And the cables will fit.. this is only a mid tower case, so the 24 pin and the 8 pin cable will be fine.

I got a GTX 275, and it didn't fit with the fan bracket by less than 1mm. When I removed the bracket, it fit, (luckily i didn't have to remove the entire HDD Cage) and I still had about 1.5" clearance, plus clearance to the side, and I got to keep the extra fan and 3 HDD slots. So for all wondering, the 275 WILL fit, providing you remove the middle fan bracket.

well the antec 902 has some improvements such as fan filters. so u might wanna think of that.

there's enough room for me to route my 24pin through the predrilled holes and into the mobo. no extension needed.

id say this is worth $90.

easily. that card is just as long as my 4870.

only thing is you can't have a HDD on the slot right infront of wherever your GPU ends up being.

that shouldn't be hard to deal with as there are 6 slots to put your HDD. not to mention they can be moved to the top of the case.

i was actually lookin at the corsair 650W, but they all seem to have PCI x6/x8 and e-sata, no molexes anymore, i think it depends on when you bought it, because the new ones ship without molex. i currently have a thermaltake 850W on my list. But does the case come with a adapter?

i have no idea what you're talking about. try buying the PSU from newegg. their corsair 650w still has 4 pin molex. they also have 3 different thermaltake 850w models. all 3 of which have 4 pin molex connectors.

i have a 4870 and it fits fine as long as you don't put the harddrive on the same level as the gpu [your hdd should be at the bottom of the case anyway]

so your 4850 will fit easy.

I've been thinking about it but i've run into these problems:

1. my 4870 is louder than my antec 900 fans and it would cause the sound to be mis-informative.

2. there is no way i can set a standard that you can base the sound off of. without a reference you could just turn your speakers all the way up and say my fans are hella loud.

I own both HIS 4870 512mb and a Sapphire 1GB with stock so it would give me a better idea of the noise.

I am not a freak over noise but I have issues with a turbo engine while I am trying to sleep ^-^

but yeah yer GPU will run CA great. and SLI-ing won't do anything. only certain games/apps support SLI. and since your motherboard has an IP45 chipset you won't be able to SLI at all.

actually there are 8 holes for screws. it depends which 6 you use. one set of 6 are used for micro atx and another variation of 6 are used for standard atx.

you can't really tell with my low-quality camera...try watching 3dgameman's review and you'll see what i'm talking about.

oh how do i explain this...it's not a break away molex connector. the molex on the fan is double-sided and allows you to connect more and more molex to a single molex connected to your PSU. i know it might be hard to understand without a picture...i might have to get you one.

all you need to know is that i have my 220mm and both front 120mms connected to the same PSU molex connector.
