  • I hope the Royal families in Great Britain know what this trailer is about.

I havent even seen the movie but I already know what this movie is about.

What if I told you its me they are trying to cover up?

I will let Queen Elizabeth II decide on what she thinks of this. I already know its messed up. I cant stand this in usa either.

  • SOPA

  • @MrModZix QQ morE?

  • You guys claiming a theory on this theory is false theory.

  • long live me

  • i wrote it ,and also created the philosopher's stone

  • Haha, This Isn't a false theory.

  • Radiohead Song. Everything in it's right place.

  • What song by Radiohead was playing?

  • I'm writing an AP Language and Composition essay about this subject. (:

  • So than who wrote it?

  • Besides. We all know the true writer of Shakespeare's plays was Sir Francis Bacon and his team of play writing ghosts.

  • you this is true right, he stole everything from george chapman, the true writer of all, LONG LIVE GEORGE CHAPMAN!!!!

  • I kind of hope this theory about Shakespeare is true, it would make it a lot more interesting.

  • RADIOHEAD

  • the movie looks boring but the concept is very interesting !

  • And this is not to be forgiven, since he is German he should have known what Nietzsche once said: The person of the artist has to be forgotten, when one does behold the piece of art, as Goethe was no Faust and Homer no Achilles and Shakespeare no Hamlet; so it is utterly irrelevant for the art itself who did create it! So as a punishment he should be forced to direct at least one Shakespeare play strictly in the mater Shakespeare lets his Hamlet declare how things should be enacted.

  • This bloke has so far never made a great or at least decent movie and mostly produced idle dreams, which encourage the US-Americans to uphold their vision of power, justice and grandeur but to everyone else flicks like the Patriot or Independence day are just revolting; but attempting to unmask Shakespeare as not being the almost divine poet is even worse: Instead of bringing his plays to the cinematic stage this bloke makes a fuss about who Shakespeare was.

  • Dear me! German movie directors should never go the USA! Just think of Fritz Lang: In Germany he made masterworks like Metropolis, M or the Nibelungs but then he went to the USA and his movies became cheap commercial trash; so it was with Wolfgang Petersen, who made DAS BOOT (probably the best movie about submarine warfare) and then went to the USA and made this trash Troy (anything based on the Iliad deserves the same treatment as Peter Brook gave the Indian epic Mahabharata)!

  • Woah woah woah. Calm down, bro. It's just a movie. A fictional one at that.

  • @DesertTornado: Certainly, it is not a thing to rejoice at: for if, look you, he were my brother, I would desire the bard to use his good pleasure, and put him to execution; for discipline ought to be used; as Shakespeare is himself alone and has neither pity, love, nor fear.

  • Looks like a cool flick.

  • WOW... Imagine that! Very interesting concept! Should be a great film!

  • This movie is just the directors way of trolling everyone. William Shakespeare was not a fraud, there is actual evidence he wrote all those plays. get over it, not everything needs to have some conspiracy behind it.

  • @ColonelCuban6419 Well what's the actual evidence?

  • @ColonelCuban6419 They have old written records from playhouses, royalty, libraries, all stating he wrote them, and giving specific dates and whatnot.. Yes, you could argue that even then he stole ideas, but thats good enough for me. Not insulting or bashing anyone going along with the "fraud" theory, this is just my opinion.

  • wtf !!!

  • No it doesn't make you wonder. This movie looks very interesting and entertaining but it should be noted that scholars know Shakespeare produced the works we attribute to him. The only issue I have with this movie is that it's going to make people believe it's fact when indeed it is fictitious and meant for entertainment only. Research, people, research!

  • @HeidiWilhelmina There really is no definite proof Shakespeare was an actual writer or just a pen name. There a lot of missing pages within the life of Shakespeare, so it could very well mean Edward de Vere or Christopher Marlowe could have taken that name. I'm not saying I believe it or not, but scholars do not know 100% that Shakespeare is who we all think he is.

  • roland emmerich mmmm......and no end of the world??? i've been played

  • Radiohead - Everything in its right place.

Thumbs up so people get to see the name of the song.

  • this makes you wonder!!!....i like ♥

  • 1:01 - is that JULIUS CAESAR?

  • HOLY SHIIETTI'VE WATCHED THIS TRAILER 6 TIMES REPEATEDLY IT'S JUST SOOOO INTRIGUING

  • radiohead....!!!!

  • what is the song called???? 0.o

  • @ixexexe1 Anonymous is a hacker group, wich hacked sony a few months ago. They are "enemies".

  • @sivaslifurkan actually, the group of hackers in anonymous actually came out and said it wasn't them, what you're thinking of was done by LulzSec... and not just once, but 6 times...

  • Comment removed

  • @sivaslifurkan

and actually SONY hasn't been their only target, they've (and anon, respectively.) gone up against big corporations and government agencies to acquire data and expose corruptions and stand up to "bullying" done by those people, they even hacked media Sun/LATimes etc. posted a couple fake stories including a fake obituary for the owner, Rupert Murdoch,

  • @sivaslifurkan

Rupert Murdoch, a KNOWN corrupt media figure who has gotten charges on spying on peoples cellphone conversations, and also manipulating stories in the media to fulfill his own agendas... yeah, they seem like such baaad people ::rollseyes::

Although, if you put "enemies" for the effect of sarcasm, then yes.. they are "enemies" to the enemies. haha

  • And well, what if i told you that i am Jack Norris...

  • Comment removed

  • Plot:

A political thriller about who actually wrote the plays of William Shakespeare-- Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford-- set against the backdrop of the succession of Queen Elizabeth I, and the Essex Rebellion against her.

    Genre: Drama

    :s

  • Anonymous is really gettin thr name out there o.o

  • is it true ???

  • @SharmaDon890 Some people think it is. It's an honest debate. I don't know how valid the debate this movie surrounds is, but it's an actual debate.

  • @TheIlluminatus503 well if there is any evidence about it than that will be like earthquake in english language !!!!

  • The true Concept of this movie is what the scientist of modern time is saying about Shakespeare. That he was one of the knight/Guardian of the Holy grail (IF it exists) like Leonardo Deviancy. he had a secret but could not speak out so he encoded it in his plays and poems, but the plays and poems was not from him but from an other person or more.

I remember watching this at National Geographic. well thats the theory the scientist are saying.

  • @CorruptedJR I encoded stuff too.. In my farts..

  • @frzsabet haha yeah, is hard to believe. i personal dont believe it but thats what i remember from NG channel

  • @CorruptedJR I love it when they try so hard to just turn everything into mystery or something. In my art history class they teach us how every sculpture made was for rituals or for these weird things; I'm like to the teacher "How do you know? maybe they just had too much time in their hands and made things.."

BUT all are interesting and I love to hear about these stuff.. :D Thanks for the info on this.. It's an interesting theory they have on Shakespeare.. :D

  • @CorruptedJR jk btw..

  • @CorruptedJR thank you.

  • "we've all been played" - the moment that I've lost all interest in the movie. F#cking marketing team produced, cringe inducing puns.

  • we've all been played?? lmfao

  • Whats the song from the trailer does anyone know??

  • @Desvena Everything in its right place - Radiohead

  • but what if I told you, everything you know is a lie, we are inside the Matrix? This would be another movie.

  • @xeoncat202 Thats called LIVING THE DREAM. And its only in usa.

  • Even though this is a false theory I would like to see the movie.

  • You really don't want to see the real anonymous group

  • that looks just absolutely amazing i love movies like that

  • that looks amazing

  • @Zeffa1234 He could have dictated his works to someone that could write? I mean, just because he couldn't read or right doesn't mean he didn't have a way with words or was a bad storyteller. Just a possibility.

  • Anonymous is going to hack this movie cause of the copyright name lol

  • People need to not take things so seriously. I personally believe that Shakespeare wrote his own stuff, but the theory that it was someone else has been around for over 100 years. It's just a movie about that theory - the filmmakers aren't saying that it's true he did or didn't, simply that the possibility is put there. People commenting on how it's stupid or that it makes them angry, that's fine. Don't go see it then. You're entitled to your own opinion.

  • @sk8terpunk50 You must remember Shakespeare was illiterate, he couldn't read or right and that also goes for his family too. Where would he learn to write so well?

  • @Zeffa1234 now lets remember that Shakespeare studied at a grammar school in Stratsford. now why in the world would a grammar school or any school really, not teach reading and writing? where did you get that load of bullocks from, some conciracy book by some wacko historian, or wikipedia? thats the problem with people nowadays, they doubt everything. just leave the good stuff alone people and worry about Bigfoot or something.

  • @FlapJack211 Actually a literature book in my English class O_o Well... Maybe I got it wrong, first off, it is the summer and secondly I graduated from high school so I don't really remember all that shit (correctly). I don't read conspiracy books nor do I read information from Wikipedia if I was accurate information. I figured someone would reply to me saying I was wrong. No need to be a douchebag about it and don't say you aren't because you are. I dont give a shit about Bigfoot, asshole.

  • @FlapJack211 You say let's remember, as if we were there along side him.

  • let the paranoia begin.......now.

  • just me or does this film look SO Boring?

  • It's true, there were no female actors... thusly "Well what if I told you Juliet was a man

  • OMG THE ANONS ARE TAKING OVER!!!!!!!!

  • What's the music? I love it

  • @SpyderzVidz Everything in its right place by Radiohead

  • @mustafatahhan1 dont mind those stupid brainwashed american zombies

  • u got to know him ' to be played ' !

    I NEVER DID !

  • People Shakespeare wrote his stuff! Why can't you accept that?

  • @HanoHano111 You are one stupid person. It's call historical fiction. What if he Shakespeare didn't wright his shit but only took credit for it. Dumbass!

  • @makatikobum well id say was juliet the boy

  • i'm not an english teacher, and this still pisses me off.

  • stupid .

  • "We've all been played" HAAAAA I get it.

  • shit film looooooooool

  • does anyone know what the song is called ?

  • what... is there truth to it? i thought it was just a movie til i saw the comments?!

  • This movie would be detrimental to my mental health. Seriously I'm getting sick of praising what turn out to be lies constructed by individuals and supported by others throughout history. Guess that's what you get when you try to figure out things that went on centuries ago, but it doesn't make it any less devastating, not being able to concur anything as factual unless it was big and important enough to be properly documented. Even then there are flaws based on mere speculations. *sigh*

  • @IroNicGirl91 actually no one knows if Shakespeare even existed, the only way his plays were put together was by the scripts of the actors getting together after he supposedly died and combining each piece of their lines. It's not certain he was even alive due to the lack of birth date and such back then. Thus there is ALWAYS room speculation and nothing in history should be interpreted as incontrovertible

  • @Cuhrispy I know this, but it's a personal flaw of mine to fall in love with the idea of something, or wanting something to be true enough that you actually start believing it. I'm probably part of the very same group of individuals that build and support an image that should hardly be sustainable because of its lack in proof and foundation. I could never dive into the depths of history, especially not that far back BECAUSE of that consistent spec of doubt. It would drive me mad not to know with

  • @Cuhrispy certainty what is truth and that anything could be refutable. But it's hard not to fall in love with our old world and praise accomplishments. It's lamentable to have things you chose to believe in discredited so thoroughly. No one is at fault for it because it is by own admission and choice that this continues to happen to me and I admit to it. The passion with which I love certain aspects of our history is the source of a lot of my disappointments. I simply want a time machine w/ GPS

  • my brother betta loves this movie

  • The Shakespearean conspiracy......

  • Well what if i told you that Romeo was a girl

  • @makatikobum Lmao, so funny and original yet related to the trailer. Perfect comment :)

  • @makatikobum lol :)

  • @makatikobum Juliet and Romeo were lesbians <3

  • @makatikobum then Juliet was a boy :D

  • this is to english teachers what the da vinci code was to catholics.

OH i must also point out: DRACO MALFOY AS AN OLD MAN AT 1:44

  • This looks to have as much historical accuracy as "The Da Vinci Code." Regardless, it might be interesting. I guess.

  • The name William Shakespeare was a pseudonym, (the name was taken from an illiterate homeless man, who couldn't even sign his own name). The real author of Shakespeare's work was FRANCIS BACON, a free mason, the secret of Bacon is that he was the illegitimate son of Queen Elizabeth, and was eventually banished from England. He was also the author of the King James version of the bible.

  • I hate when the two top comments are pretty much the same thing.

  • This trailer makes me uncomfortable..

  • so shakespeare didn't write all that he's credit to have written? here's why i don't care...i have a sense of history in my mind which i'm too lazy or can't be bothered to alter for whatever reason, it's like if someone told me hitler wasn't a nazi or the slave trade didn't happen, my brain is too lazy to adjust to all the so called lies

  • great movie about Shakespeare

  • BOOORING

  • where are the aliens and big meaniless explosion?

  • @UpdatesBlow i agree... well we will never really know for sure who wrote those plays and poems...
