Apparently this generated huge epic laughs in the theatre when it was first shown. While I found it humorous, I didn't really find it gut busting hilarious.

Venkman's "Yes, this man has no penis" line I found hilarious, however. More so than this scene.

This was the scariest scene when I was a kid. Scarier than the librarian. To this day, I'm still scared of hallways.

Yeah, hallways. The scene took place in a vacant hotel hallway. Because of this scene, the scene of the kid on the tricycle in "The Shining" and a messed up dream I had, empty hallways scare me.

The rest of the movie was funny to me, even as a little kid. But Slimer's scene scared me so bad that the entire scene makes me uneasy.

I also believed until I was 14 that Slimer was in my kitchen. I'd hear noises at night and attribute them to him raiding the cupboards.
