I had the same problem. You need to right click on the shadow bane file (or icon) and check its "properties", click on "compatibility" and adjust it according to your computer (what computer do u have?)

or you can just run as administator, also you can move the file out of the program c folder and move it to your own distination, just make sure the shortcut knows were it is, i had that issue i just ran as admin and it works fine

You can't buy it. Get a windows guy to DL it from fileplanet, it says free trial, ignore that, it's free. But it's buggy as hell...

You can download it on mac via Fileplanet aswell. Just follow a few steps on the shadowbane website.

1- Download Firefox

2- Download the Addon 'User Agent Switcher'

3- Install the addon and restart firefox

4- click tools > user agent switcher > internet explorer

Now, all websites recognize firefox as IE.

You'll have to re-do step 4 each time you restart firefox, but aslong as you dont quit it, it should work.

This guide helped me out with my settings, too. But as soon as I step out of my starting city my game crashes... I meet and exceed all the minimal requirements, so it's not that... I really want to play this game!

EVE's pvp is decent, but it's like comparing apples and oranges. I'm looking forward to shadowbane seeing as how it's downloading right now. I've wanted a good fantasy genre pvp mmo for a while now.
