  • Meraviglioso ...

    Sono molto impressionato

  • this is amazing a cover that really stands up..................... instead of some dick in his room on an acoustic

  • jeez hankoegal, i might have subscribed to your channel if the goddamn colours didn't clash so bad they gave me a grand mal seizure...

    borntoloop

  • so Kenneth Anger-esque!

  • Very beautifully done =) faved..

    xo

  • Bowie sing this song great.

but this here is amazing .

so ..raw, so real ....so unreal

for the video , what can i say . it completely changed my opinion about silent movies.

excelent in all ways thank you hankoegal

  • Delightful voice for this song. Fatal accent.

    Kinda Dietrich glam.

    Love to Tally Brown.

  • Makes me laugh a bit, just like when Bowie sung "Alabama Song". He never had the time to go back to his early seventies song and do something like that. I don't mean the dancing, fascinating at first but once the surprise is gone it's only OK.

Nevertheless I watched it with great pleasure. For a moment I recalled some images of Bowie as a mime. That was good too.

    Thanks.

  • fantastic!

  • Stumbled upon this by accident. It's wonderful! Thank you for sharing!!!

  • this is the strangest thing i've ever seen.

I don't like how she changes the lyrics.

  • To whom it may concern: Tally Brown's film will be screened this saturday at the Anthology Film Archives in NYC as part of Rosa Von Praunheim's retrospective.

  • Update: Rosa Von Praunheim was tehre to introduce the film. After the screening, he introduced a pianist who worked for Tally Brown. Also there was one of the original cameramen, who worked on the film. Stunning New York experience.

  • Awesome.

I loved your old Video version - but this one is great, too.

In the name of Amazing GRACE Jones and Asha PUTHLI :-) Uwe

  • why bowie have never sang it live?

    why?

  • Bowie...you're all right.

  • your vids all are fabulous made and the most beautiful of all versions i've ever seen

thanks for your amazing jobs and sharing!

  • fantastic version...for me the only cover of a Bowie song wich is more intense than the original.

  • Wow! One of Bowie's best songs, and regrettably, one that he never chose to play live. How nice to hear a new rendition. Very haunting and sad, yet completely beautiful!

  • This is fantastic... It's weird, I'm a extream David Bowie fan and I have been looking for this film "Tally Brown, New York" for over five years. I had no idea this was a part of it. Do you know of any way to obtain a copy of any format of the film

"Tally Brown, New York"? Please get ahold of me. THANKS TONS

  • This beautiful song, the touching voice of Tally Brown and the scenes from the silent movie are simply wonderful together....

    Thank you for uploading!
