Good vid. Pretty slick there. Although it looks like you have "steering sensetivity" on. Is that right, or is it because you're using more degrees of rotation that the in-game car has? Dunno why rfactor has steering sensetivity, its the most pointless thing in a driving game-especially for sim racing. And the main reason people struggle with controlling oversteer.

That heel & toeing looks really awkward. In a racing Caterham you'd have the accelerator set well behind the brake, so that when the brake is fully depressed the two pedals are level. Then you can brake with the ball of your right foot and gently rock the foot sideways to blip the gas (the heel never actually moves).

The G25 pedals don't allow that. I've modified mine with a pice of wood between the brake pedal face plate and the pedal to bring it forward a few inches. Does the trick.

Like he says...go to RFCentral and download it! Open the rar file and drag the "rfactor" folder to wherever your own "rfactor" folder is. Overwrite anything along the way (only folders are named the same, no original files are overwritten)

The real caterhams have 720 degrees of rotation, so you got that part right. :)

If you want, i can send you the new physics for the cats. The new R500 is far better than before, and all of the cars are now developed for realfeel. :)

Nice video man, do you use the G25 with 900º? Can you please tell me how to do it since I'm a starter in rFactor, I set the 900º on the Logitech Profiler but then what must I do in the game? And can you recommend me some good cars? Stock ones like BMWs, Porsches, Ferraris. Thanks in advance.

I set mine to 720. There are so many good mods for RFactor. This Caterham from Major Parts & Cubits is one of the best mod, another good mod with stock car is the C6 Corvette mod.

Nice setup man. You are missing apexes due to your heal and toe affecting braking too much. It's great to match revs to keep stability but you must keep the brake pressure right to avoid overshooting the apex. It's bloody hard to perfect though otherwise we would all be racing drivers ! Keep on racing...

It was a commbination of a few things. Yeah, the G25 pedels are not excatly setup for H&T not interms of the spacing, but more due to how the brake and gas is at the same level. The other part is I forgot to turn the speed sensitive steering off for that video, so it limits my steering at certain speeds. In addition, I don't usually drive with shoes on but I wear them for video, and it affected my footwork a little.

well rev matching is for racing, used only during downshifting. my friend here can pretty much use it quite smoothly, so it's not a problem a racing driver. not that hard actually.

lol, I was playing nkpro before and I forgot to set it back when I do the video. I MUST once again thank you for such an extremely good mod. The Caterham mod is probably the one mod that I consistently play in RFactor and I can honestly say it is also the mod in rFactor that I feel like I am actually driving a real car. A feeling which I can only get with nkpro.
