murphy had an accident with him at bathurst, murphy had just pitted on safety car so had a very quick car, and ambrose tried to ride it out, i remember watching cursing at ambrose for holding him up!

@anfnifarr I'm not familiar with the Island and all of its flag points, but have you considered how far the officials had to move to get there? Over a minute is not good, I'll admit, but the marshal's are out there doing their best with what they have

@MrNardulas I agree, it's not the responders' fault that they're too far from the accident scene. An accident can happen anywhere around the circuit. Enough responders need to be posted in enough positions to be able to get anywhere in less than half the time we see here. Every second counts. It's nothing to do with flag points, the flaggies can't be leaving their positions unattended.

This was a failure of track management who let a top level event run with too few safety personnel.

Marshals on their game... how many minutes before they get over to see if he's ok. Marshals in Oz are generally pathetic no matter how much they think theyre gods gift to motorsport.
