@adoraloveshim242 Bleach is made in comic ways. So it has "arcs" long term or short term stories. Like early bleach, you'd have "arcs" with different individuals, or "long term arcs" like the Saving Rukia, or Entering Hueco Mundo. Bleach is entering it's Last "long term" arc, and then it will end. sadly. :(

@JonattanD If you look back at Kenpachi's fight with Ichigo you will see that Kenpachi notices Ichigo's strength and decides to try and fight WITH his zanpakuto, but when he asks it what it's name was, it just screamed and denied him. Because of that, he'll never achieve SHIKAI, let along ever get a bankai. :P Not trying to piss you off, just putting it out there for everyone to see

@SnipingOperation Well technically his sword is already in Shikai state, since his spiritual pressure is so huge it forces the blade into that state, he just can't use it's powers since him and the spirit are constantly at ends, though Kenpachi is trying to communicate with it. He'll probably achieve Banka eventually, probably near the end of the series as a treat to the fans.

They discuss how in a normal soul reaper, harmony with the zanpakutou brings more strength, but he doesn't, or at least didn't, believe in harmonizing/working together with anything, including his zanpakutou, so him and his zanpakutou push each other away, making each other weaker. If it was a normal sword, it would be broken extremely easy, look at Ichigo's training with Zangetsu with all the Fake Zanpakutou.

Used two hands instead of one and finished his opponent in one hit, if hes that stronger with two hands, the universe would be in trouble with a bankai of his, but he said he will not rely on his sword but his own strength so its cool.

@LstShotProductions He does have a zanpakutou. He uses it, and his spiritual pressure is too high so it's constantly in shikai even though he doesn't communicate with the spirit to much. In fact at the beginning the spirit of the zanpakutou makes him weaker cause their clashing, but we're learning he's trying to communicate with it.
