Decided to rent this on gamefly and thought I'd get a preview of it before I play it and get into Resistance 2 and 3. Sooooo far it looks like Fallout meets Call of Duty World at War, meets Gears of War. Pretty cool so far. Can't wait to play it, beat it, and give it back to get the next one.

The historical backstory was always interesting i thought, all my friends ask about nazis but they never came to power, nor did the soviets, and WW2 never happened lol they all think the chimera are "Nazi Experiments"

This was the first game to come out on the PS3, so that means the developers were working with new software for the very first time. Epic games had already developed an optimal engine for the Xbox, because the Xbox had been out for over a year already. Think before you comment. The first games to come out for the Xbox didn't look nearly as good as the ones that are coming out now either.

quit comparing gears and resistance. both are different game in alternate realities. I think both games are fast and exillerating. I dont get why Insomniac and Epic Games compete since they are two different games on two different consoles.

2. The PS3 controller is more precise with less deadzone (which you wouldn't know since you don't own one)

Everyone has their own opinions though pal. Some prefer the PS3 controller, myself included, some prefer the Xbox controller. Technically the PS3 is superior in comparison to the Xbox, but money talks. As for PC gaming, well that's a different story. Within the gaming industry, if you were to define the word 'superior', your response would simply consist of two letters, PC!

i'm just not that generous enough to give microsoft my money for what i can get for free on PSN..
i never got hyped about Halo series.. maybe it's good, maybe it ain't, i dont know.. a friend brought his copy to my place one day, and the game kinda looked too childish for me..

Yeah I know I barely play the game, however it looks like they made alot of progress with reach, I mean an air vehicle with machine guns attached and a HUGE ass multiplayer map is hard to beat,
And like I said before I also get pissed at those types of games, a little lag and your at the bottom of the scoreboard,
But Ive played the beta for reach and it's not the usual two guys running at eachother shooting then the deciding blow,
you can cloak at will.
