  • Those harmonies and the ringing guitar are what make this classic one of their best.

  • crackin' pics to go with the song !

  • LOVELY SOUNDS and DELIGHTFUL .... to the senses !!!!!! GO HOLLIES !

  • FOR SUCH A FANTASTIC SONG IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE IT NEVER MADE THE BILLBOARD TOP 40..WHAT A SHAME!

  • for me this is the best hollies song ever along with look through any window and bus stop. Great singing.

  • Great audio quality and the pictures set the mood. Excellent!

  • supper i like it

  • This is the version I remember. Love this song. Takes me back to lazy summers by the pool as a kid in my hometown. I agree about the Hollies. After all these years, you immediately recognize their sound.

  • I first heard this song when I was 9 years old. Wow, it sounds still as fresh as it did about a half century ago! I always get bolted when Allan sings "Oh, it hurts me."

Thank you, 74sodapop. The sound quality is superb.

  • They Finally made it to the RRHOF This Year. Well Deserved

  • And the Hollies finally made it into the RRHOF!! very well deserved and it's about time!!

  • It's about time, this great band has FINALLY been nominated for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!!

  • Written by Chip Taylor - brother of actor Jon Voight.

  • Is there a finer more exhilarating few minutes of pure pop? Ever? Okay, so the La's 'There She Goes'. But what else?

  • Show me better singing (three part harmonies) than this song

  • @Flapperjaw crosby stills and nash lol sorry couldnt help it both awesome harmonies

  • fking catchy damn it

  • que bonito coño

  • Thanks so much. Great

  • One of their best, the chorus is as catchy as any chorus in the 60s, and that's saying something. Of course new Hollies lovers should check out Crosby Stills and Nash's first album (Graham Nash left the Hollies for CSN)

  • This is my favorite song by The Hollies. My favorite part is Graham's vocal in the chorus. In his prime, he was one of the best male pop vocalists.

  • The harmony in this song is unsurpassed - I love the Hollies - on equal par with the Beatles -I miss them so very much!!

  • I loove all things Hollies.....

  • I like it very much!!! Thanks

  • what is up w/ the slideshow, esp 1:11? ur life in the 60's?

  • Just photos from 66.The times where these sounds came from. The pictures have soul.Photo-scans too

  • hmmm... may b u can superimpose pix of allen & the boys in the photo scenes 2 make them more interesting.

  • yawn thats been done so many times

  • Dubmaniac, Im sure that you know that Graham

Nash left the Hollies to form C.S.and Nash.

  • I only found out a few months ago that this was first done by the Hollies and not Linda Ronstadt. I like a lot of her stuff, but this version pisses all over hers!

Nobody can touch the Hollies for breathtaking harmonies... except maybe Crosby, Stills and Nash. Thanks for posting this one!

  • It was actually first recorded by Evie Sands in 1965 but did not chart in either the US or UK The Hollies version peaked at #2 in the UK although it did hit #1 in the NME charts (March 1966)

  • Maybe that's because Graham Nash was one of the Hollies lol.

  • My point exactly!

  • @Dubmaniac Linda Ronstadt is a hippie.

  • @Dubmaniac ..You might want to check out Evie Sand's version of this as well

  • Hollies! Mom bought a greatest hits CD, but this isn't on it, very nice- love the harmony! Neat pictures, the one on the CD is awful lol
