@PFM719 Based on EU material and real-life wars, I figured that even the Empire's troops don't think of themselves as evil/bad people. Even if the Empire gave them complete and accurate information about what it is they do (blowing up planets, slavery, etc.) they'd probably also believe it was for the greater good. In this case though, the propaganda film is there to lie to people and make the Empire look like the victim of the war.
