Murray06, there is a better version of this song - the original by Loudon Wainwright - on his 2nd LP (and elsewhere on Youtube). Alex Chilton of Big Star does a pretty good version too. This ain't bad though...

@hoping22 the proper recorded version of the bombay bicycle club 'Motel Blues' shits on alex chilton's cover. But admittedly the original is very good but this live version by bbc isnt very good, listen to bbc's version of this song on spotifiy or itunes then compare to chilton's and the original, i find bbc's the best because of the superior guitar playing and i prefer his voice.
