I've read that Tiger 131 still has its original engine because that was the only way to get funding. In the last vid I saw it was running very rough with backfires but in this one it's running very nicely. Have they swapped engines?

I understand it blew its first engine (taken from the Tiger II) and had to be rebuilt with parts from the Jagdtiger. I think the first time it ran it had magneto problems but it has been fixed now.

Yes, Imagine if they could low load the Tiger to Salisbury plane, and give the public a demo of the 88 gun in action against the range targets.

I'm not sure if the gun can even be fired i'm sure there's some law in this country that would forbid it cause it would be classed as a lethal weapon it would be great if they could but i doubt anyone would allow it

I think it can but I have never seen it fire. It would be great if they ever did!
