Great job as always John! Couple of things: First, why were the older silver liners on the NEC isn't that rare? And also, good shot of the comet 1s. Also, I heard that they were going to turn into a MU? Is that true? Also, good shirt too :D!!
I see the II's and III's on every line, but what seems to happen is that certain runs will seem to have them every day for a period of time. Trains 328 and 371 on the West Trenton line (3-car trains) had them almost every day the first two months of 2008. Train 319 (5 cars) has had them a lot recently.
Yes, usually try to stay out of the shots but couldn't avoid it due to a sticker bush in the way. Normally would have editted myself out, but didn't want to spend the time.
NJT retired them and has been selling them off. SEPTA bought 8 plus a parts car for use on its push-pull sets, which will have 7 cars each. Cars will be rehabbed before being put into service in the next month or so.
On this day the historic collapse of America's economy began!!!

Why are the two septa trains in this shot bypass this station? Deadhead or express service?
seClip9 3 years ago
SEPTA has had every other midday train skipping this station since October 2007.

Yes, SL II's and III's are not common on the Trenton runs. The Comets will be added to the current push pull sets next month.

Wow! OK! Thanks for the info! I hope to see the Comet 1s! Will you get a video of them?

was septa moving the njt railcars for the regional rail lines?
CSXNSfan 3 years ago
I don't know why SEPTA was even handling the cars. Usually NJT does equipment moves between it's Atlantic City Line and Morrisville, and other yards.
