  • She didn't have a 'classic beauty face', but she was still one of the 'most beautiful people' to grace the big screen and later, TV. I really feel a loss that she did her best work on the stage, and I never had a chance to see any of it. I watched the Tony Randall TV show mostly to see her. I wish she had had more TV exposure. I'm most happy to see from Wikipedia that she is still with us and I wish her a long, happy life, with no intrusions by curiosity seekers.

  • Wondering how many takes it took till she finally hit the hat on that guys head instead of his actual head lol

  • Is this what they mean by stealing a movie?

  • I'm a Mclerie. Wonder if she is a relation!

  • What a fox!!!!!

  • Keep it under your HAT, not hut.

  • I Love these costumes

  • lol! the best way to blow away a bunch of men in a bar!

  • She was Gorgeous

  • Wonderful! Allyn turns 83 on December 1st. She was the "Amy" Ray Bolger sang "Once in Love with Amy" for and starred in the title role in Irving Berlin's 1949 "Miss Liberty" on Broadway. She had quite an impressive resume before I encountered her as a kid when she was Mrs. Carlson on "WKRP in Cincinnati"

  • @walt1896 Great to hear that she is still around,Allyn was a superlative dancer and this sequence is one of my favourites, she was seriously underused/rated by the folks in Hollywood though.

    I agree,the costumes are amazing-ultra feminine.
