"I am absolutely convinced that the main source of hatred in the world is religion and organized religion. Absolutely convinced. ...and it should be treated with ridicule, hatred and contempt, and I claim that right." - Christopher Hitchens
It's only given to show that people have reasons to be combative with religion in retort to the start of your vid. It's not merely a rant but a stance that is reverberating to many. I think it's rather obvious that believers are getting butthurt over it. Hitchens good friend is Francis Collins by the way, who is a believer. I think it's about time after thousands of years of theocratic oppression that religion be held to scrutiny of which it so sorely deserves.
"vulgar drunk". Haha! Yep. Butthurt. See, that's all you can do. Resort to an ad hominen. You can't argue with logic, nor can you all be seriously convincing when trying to actually combat the real questions and problems found in religion. I feel kinda bad you guys have to carry such a burden of fantasy.
I think it's a silly argument. It's not about variety which is so prevalent because of natural selection. To many, it's about the harm religion has caused, and how it stifled progress and growth, especially during the dark ages. I find this video a distraction to the real issues.
Wow. I think anybody reading this would say that I did not say that at all. That I in fact said that there is of course variety. It's absolutely astronomical the ends you people go. I've been having an inkling that there is real need to combat this lunacy, and you are proving them right now by trying to put words in my mouth. Really, you're doing a terrible job of being convincing, and intellectually stimulating.
btw its funny that you say believers arent all the same and then list a lot of famous people to prove your "point". While all those probably all believe different things which makes your list totally pointless. Every living creature thinks differently about certain topics and holds other believes then others. Just showing people in that clip only make it seem like they are all the same.
Very nice vid!...I'm not religeous myself...so...I suppose you'd say I'm going straight to hell...that's another belief you are entitled to......but...in a strange way I found this interesting...no...uplifting even.
Speaking for myself, as an atheist, I don't see all christians OR atheists as being the same. Each person is different in lifestyle, ethnicity and personality. "Just because people don't agree on everything doesn't mean they can't be "united"."
I mean that God gave simple rules. But Christianity alone is divided in thousands of branches around the world because of they difference in interpretation.
The reason why atheïsts usually say the "faithful" are all the same is because you all blindly believe. All your arguments that cannot be disproven (which are few) can also not BE proven.
You can win every price in existence, you can stil be wrong about a subject.
If you believe in something that cannot be proven or disproven, on some level you just ASSUME it's true. Can't be proven, so it's just an assumption. And to assume something as big as a God exists, and base your entire existence on it, is nothing short of lunacy. Nobody in their right mind would dare claim to know how everything started and what the "purpose of life" is.
First of all the edison quote, pointless. 10000 times he ATTEMPTED to created a lightbulb. He failed at this 9999 times. He did not INTEND to find out 9999 ways to do it wrong. His intention was after all: create a lightbulb. We can all agree he only succeeded one out of 10000 times, regardless of how he views his failures.
Also, yes people in the same religion are alike. Shouln't they follow the same rules given by God? Are they not the same for everyone, should they not argue the same thing?
not sure of the purpose of this video...... a list of names and photographs tells us nothing about any belief! Most certainly, the likes of Richard Gere and Reese Witherspoon have no commonlity in belief; other than that they have one. But what does that tell us? Nothing. Puzzled. Pointless.
No I don't. You name hate, but don't specify what hate. Just like you called me hateful without any arguments whatsoever. Like it's clear to everyone that anyone who tries to convince people not to believe in an "invisible man in sky" (and don't argue symantics)
@ivlfounder If I say I passionately believe in something that sounds like lunacy to you (like gnomes or dragons or whatever) and that I can not prove and you cannot disprove, you would call me an idiot. That wouldn't make you hateful.
An invisible man who judges you sounds like lunacy to an atheist. That doesn't make us hatefilled. We just don't get why you would.
And if I had a nobel prize, but I said I believe invisible gnomes sing songs that can't be heard around my head at night, you would call me crazy too. Only reason you say these nobel prize winners aren't is because you happen to be religious too.
Lol, you were the one who wasn't responding. And just because he's a respected scientist, doesn't mean he's right. A respected farmer is just as wrong regarding religion if he believes in the invisible god. And by the way, ur a bit hateful for a christian. Shouldn't you be a nice christian who tries to spread christianity to the non-believers? In stead you call us hateful :D sounds like a hateful christian to me :p Do your devine duty the right way man
You like to give orders but it upsets you when others give them?
It's also funny to listen to you whine about how I don't conform to what you (claim to) think Christians are supposed to act like yet you don't adhere to those standards yourself.
Who ever said anything about a higher expectation. I just don't have to act nice and spread the faith. I'm an atheist, so no dead prophet is telling me to do so
"ur a bit hateful for a christian. Shouldn't you be a nice christian who tries to spread christianity to the non-believers? In stead you call us hateful :D sounds like a hateful christian to me :p Do your devine duty the right way man"
You're selfish you know that?
You show up insulting others and then get upset and start to complain that your feeling have been hurt.
This is the second time you're avoiding a direct reaction to my statement that ur not acting like a christian. You have a video up against so called "hate" against christians. In stead of spreading the faith to atheists, you would call them hatefilled and argue your own point without regard your purpose.
I do not just start insulting. On the contrary. I made an argument against religion as a whole (not as an insult to one) and you call me hatefilled. Ergo, the christian started
We are different yes, but we ALL BELIEVE IN ONE GOD!!! ONE HERO!!!! :D OMG GREAT VIDEO but are you sure that Mel Brooks, Dave Chapelle, Jeff Foxworthy, and Tina Fey are christians? They have some bad jokes and what not. It'd be AWESOME to hear they are though.
Those were a lot of worldly people...Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. You can call me a fuddy duddy but there was no celebrity worship in the modern world until Edward L Bernays using Uncle Sigmund Freud invented "Peacetime Propaganda"thus the age of
silly-ebreties.The d'Medici used art and Religion in the Renaissance for the same reason and on thru history.
When I get in my car I have faith when I turn the key it will start ! Is that bad? Faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things unseen. The Global Bankers have faith that they can rip you off and feed you crap entertainment and chemical food and you'll let them as long as they market it right. Faith is not religion.
Religion As SEEN ON TV is a marketing vehicle. You don't need a priest to pray to God. Television is a religion !
I guess its not who the believers are or what occupation they are holding but the way they practice their faith and how they treat those who doesn't share their beliefs.
In the beginning your video is saying that "Theists are not all the same." Ok...I honestly don't think anyone is arguing against that point, unless it is to say "They all believe in something they have no evidence to back up." Why link this to the Unbroken Thread vid? Also, your message of "Tolerance towards the faithful" or whatever...yea. You might want to leave the South Park guy out considering the Scientology and Mormon Episodes.
religion is the most powerful and most common cause for bigotry, rejection of ideas different than their own. if we can let go of religion, we can let go of the hate. i agree with you it's time. why fight over whose imaginary friend is better?
See, your theory breaks down when pointing out all those without religion who are hateful, destructive, etc.
One thing many religions (mine included) teach is that mankind is inherently broken, flawed. That means that, with or without a god, people would find a reason to hate.
It could be nationalism or greed or racism or - as South Park joked - what all the athiests would call themselves.
i agree. but removing religion would eliminate one problem. see good people will do good things, and bad people will do bad things, but it takes religion to make a good person do evil. and that is one of the worst things about religion.
Well then, let's get rid of things like, oh... diversity. After all, if you get rid of everyone but a single race, you can't have racism! You've solved ONE problem!
Except here's the thing: getting rid of faith would deny reality. You can only actually talk about doing away with any kind of faith if you don't believe in anything. If something exists, then faith in it has to exist.
no. there is only one race already. so that is not the problem. human. if something exists, faith in it is unnecessary. reality does not require faith. that is my point. now if there was a god, faith would not be required, and there wouldn't be as many different beliefs about god as there are people that believe in it.
there is no need to believe in anything. you simply follow evidence. until there is evidence for something, other than not being able to explain things, don't assert it.
if there is evidence, faith is not required. faith is belief without evidence. if there really was a god, not just a figment of people's imagination, there would be evidence, and consensus ideas about what god is. right now there is as many different gods as there are people believing in them. everybody's god is different, which only shows, men created god in his image.
why would he? that would make him too stupid to be god. "i want people to believe in me, but i am gonna conceal my existence. i want the to love me without proof that i exist" if that is the case, that god chooses to conceal himself, then god could not ever be found, which is as good as if it doesn't exist. certainly answering prayers would be out of the question. wait, answering prayers is out of the question anyway, either god's gonna do something, or not, but he can not change his mind.
i don't whish for god to not exist. but there is no evidence for god. and that which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence as well.
no i don't. but wishing really has nothing to do with it. the people that believe in god do so because they wish for a god to exist. wishing is irrelevant in that case too. i don't wish either way, but i see no reason to accept that there is a god. and until such reason arises, i accept that there isn't one.
that is not wishing. wishing doen't get anything done. that is ambition. they didn't wish to fly. they wanted to accomplish flying. big difference. wishing, just like praying is a passive behavior, accomplishing is an active behavior. wishing does not imply any effort to achive it.
no. wish can't drive. it is a passive behavior. it is their ambition, their hunger to succeed that drove them.
i wish to win an olympic gold. means nothing. hard work towards it, and an ambition to succeed is the only thing that will accomplish it. you have to learn the distinction between active and passive behaviors.
you're not getting it. wishing is not the foundation for achievement. for attempting .....maybe. but attempting and trying is what losers do. it's a half assed way of following a passive behavior.
"Uh, they all believe in DIFFERENT gods, and that's a problem since according to most religions each has the one and only true god. The fact is that I can list many famous people that also smoke cigarettes, but that doesn't make that a good thing either. Religious people try to dictate policy in the U.S. and hold back science, thereby holding back the human race. I fail to see how believing in their imaginary friend can be considered a good thing."
If you don't answer my question I can only assume that you have no evidence for your god and therefore you believe irrationally....and this reinforces my argument that there may be something wrong with people that believe in a god with no idea why they do.
I got this video in my inbox, or I wouldn't know it exists. I only watched a few moments and I'm puzzled by it's purpose. Is the author implying that the likes of Muhammad Ali, Bruce Springsteen, MICHAEL MOORE and ALICE COOPER are believers in Jesus Christ? Not that I'm aware of. Strange. --Paul
"Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." -James 2:19
But that doesn't make them pleasing in God's sight, obviously. Belief in God or a god does not make one a Christian or in a right relationship with the true God. It's faith in Jesus Christ alone that makes one right with God. Not the god of Ali or Springsteen.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." -Jesus
Uh, they all believe in DIFFERENT gods, and that's a problem since according to most religions each has the one and only true god.
The fact is that I can list many famous people that also smoke cigarettes, but that doesn't make that a good thing either.
Religious people try to dictate policy in the U.S. and hold back science, thereby holding back the human race. I fail to see how believing in their imaginary friend can be considered a good thing.

You do know he won a nobel prize in science right?

@ivlfounder

So according to you he's stupid?

First of all the edison quote, pointless. 10000 times he ATTEMPTED to created a lightbulb. He failed at this 9999 times. He did not INTEND to find out 9999 ways to do it wrong. His intention was after all: create a lightbulb. We can all agree he only succeeded one out of 10000 times, regardless of how he views his failures.
Also, yes people in the same religion are alike. Shouln't they follow the same rules given by God? Are they not the same for everyone, should they not argue the same thing?
arjenvdziel 2 years ago
not sure of the purpose of this video...... a list of names and photographs tells us nothing about any belief! Most certainly, the likes of Richard Gere and Reese Witherspoon have no commonlity in belief; other than that they have one. But what does that tell us? Nothing. Puzzled. Pointless.
ocblenheimpl 2 years ago
They all believe in God(s).
ivlfounder 2 years ago
@ivlfounder
Oh, so you knew everyone personally? There hasn't been a single major accomplishment by an atheïst?
You immediatly assume they were all believers?
arjenvdziel 2 years ago
I wrote about everyone in this video not everyone in the world.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
@ivlfounder
Then what point are you trying to make? Specify
arjenvdziel 2 years ago
Did you not bother to watch the film?
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
Watched it, but it didn't make a point that mande any sense whatsoever
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
You didn't understand the part about hate at the end?
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
No I don't. You name hate, but don't specify what hate. Just like you called me hateful without any arguments whatsoever. Like it's clear to everyone that anyone who tries to convince people not to believe in an "invisible man in sky" (and don't argue symantics)
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
A good example would be to decry Nobel Prize winners as stupid because they don't agree with you.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
And I don't agree with you, and you call me hateful. Uhm hypocrite?
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
Hare describes you well since you think it's ok to call a man with a Nobel Prize in science stupid based on his being religious.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder If I say I passionately believe in something that sounds like lunacy to you (like gnomes or dragons or whatever) and that I can not prove and you cannot disprove, you would call me an idiot. That wouldn't make you hateful.
An invisible man who judges you sounds like lunacy to an atheist. That doesn't make us hatefilled. We just don't get why you would.
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
And if I had a nobel prize, but I said I believe invisible gnomes sing songs that can't be heard around my head at night, you would call me crazy too. Only reason you say these nobel prize winners aren't is because you happen to be religious too.
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
You don't have a nobel prize in science and you never will Charles Hard Townes on the other hand does and you know what that means?
He's smarter than you.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
O, so that means he's right about EVERYTHING? No, he's just an authority on that subject. Doesn't mean he know better than I if God exists
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
Oh but you've already said he's an idiot and stupid.
You're a bigot.

@ivlfounder
Respond to the other post
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
Or what?
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@arjenvdziel
Looks like you can't stand the idea of things not being in your control.
No wonder you're an atheist the thought of a God must be terrifying for you.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
Whahaha, took you that long to think up anything, and you come with that?
And again you assume something without any arguments or basis :p
Ur an idiot
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
@arjenvdziel
On the contrary you fled the argument when you realized you had bitten off more than you can chew.
Townes continues to be a respected scientist and you continue to be a small minded bigot who's frightened by the idea of God.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
In stead you call us hateful :D sounds like a hateful christian to me :p Do your devine duty the right way man
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
@arjenvdziel
What's that?
You like to give orders but it upsets you when others give them?
It's also funny to listen to you whine about how I don't conform to what you (claim to) think Christians are supposed to act like yet you don't adhere to those standards yourself.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
Is it not so that the christian way is to spread the faith?
And of course I don't keep that standard, I'm not a christian after all (DUH)
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
@arjenvdziel
You knowingly hold Christians to a higher level of expectations than yourself?
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
Who ever said anything about a higher expectation. I just don't have to act nice and spread the faith. I'm an atheist, so no dead prophet is telling me to do so
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
@arjenvdziel
"ur a bit hateful for a christian. Shouldn't you be a nice christian who tries to spread christianity to the non-believers? In stead you call us hateful :D sounds like a hateful christian to me :p Do your devine duty the right way man"
You're selfish you know that?
You show up insulting others and then get upset and start to complain that your feeling have been hurt.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
Ergo, the christian started
arjenvdziel 1 year ago
@arjenvdziel
" I made an argument against religion as a whole (not as an insult to one)"
Oh?
"anyone who blindly believes in something that cannot be proven or disproven is an idiot"
Looks like you're a (lousy) liar too.
I'm going to give you a time out to consider the ramifications of what you have done were it under other circumstances.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
@ivlfounder
Seems to me ur the one who's hatefilled if you call others that without cause.
arjenvdziel1 1 year ago
@arjenvdziel1
You just don't get it do you?
Anyone can look at what you wrote and see that you're lying.
ivlfounder 1 year ago
We are different yes, but we ALL BELIEVE IN ONE GOD!!! ONE HERO!!!! :D OMG GREAT VIDEO but are you sure that Mel Brooks, Dave Chapelle, Jeff Foxworthy, and Tina Fey are christians? They have some bad jokes and what not. It'd be AWESOME to hear they are though.

Not everyone in this video is a Chrisitan.
They all do believe in God(s) though.

TheVeryMuchSoShow 2 years ago
When I get in my car I have faith when I turn the key it will start ! Is that bad? Faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things unseen. The Global Bankers have faith that they can rip you off and feed you crap entertainment and chemical food and you'll let them as long as they market it right. Faith is not religion.
Religion As SEEN ON TV is a marketing vehicle. You don't need a priest to pray to God. Television is a religion !
TheVeryMuchSoShow 2 years ago
I guess its not who the believers are or what occupation they are holding but the way they practice their faith and how they treat those who doesn't share their beliefs.
fashiondollfan20 2 years ago
In the beginning your video is saying that "Theists are not all the same." Ok...I honestly don't think anyone is arguing against that point, unless it is to say "They all believe in something they have no evidence to back up." Why link this to the Unbroken Thread vid? Also, your message of "Tolerance towards the faithful" or whatever...yea. You might want to leave the South Park guy out considering the Scientology and Mormon Episodes.
blanith 2 years ago
Actually faith haters frequently claim believers are all the same.
I picked that video because I wanted to attract a certain caliber of people.
My not including Trey in a video showing the diversity of believers would be a bit of a paradox.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
This is a pretty cool video!
sammygebre 2 years ago
religion is the most powerful and most common cause for bigotry, rejection of ideas different than their own. if we can let go of religion, we can let go of the hate. i agree with you it's time. why fight over whose imaginary friend is better?
brownbigb 2 years ago
Amazing.
You've some how managed to claim to condem bigotry and describe the religious as having imaginary friends in the same post without feeling silly.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
there is nothing bigoted about saying god is an imaginary friend. there is no evidence to the contrary
brownbigb 2 years ago
I have no evidence your not say a child molester but that doesn't mean I should call you one.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
See, your theory breaks down when pointing out all those without religion who are hateful, destructive, etc.
One thing many religions (mine included) teach is that mankind is inherently broken, flawed. That means that, with or without a god, people would find a reason to hate.
It could be nationalism or greed or racism or - as South Park joked - what all the athiests would call themselves.
rockstarfury 2 years ago
i agree. but removing religion would eliminate one problem. see good people will do good things, and bad people will do bad things, but it takes religion to make a good person do evil. and that is one of the worst things about religion.
brownbigb 2 years ago
Well then, let's get rid of things like, oh... diversity. After all, if you get rid of everyone but a single race, you can't have racism! You've solved ONE problem!
Except here's the thing: getting rid of faith would deny reality. You can only actually talk about doing away with any kind of faith if you don't believe in anything. If something exists, then faith in it has to exist.
rockstarfury 2 years ago
no. there is only one race already. so that is not the problem. human. if something exists, faith in it is unnecessary. reality does not require faith. that is my point. now if there was a god, faith would not be required, and there wouldn't be as many different beliefs about god as there are people that believe in it.
there is no need to believe in anything. you simply follow evidence. until there is evidence for something, other than not being able to explain things, don't assert it.
brownbigb 2 years ago
"if there was a god, faith would not be required"
And you know this how?
ivlfounder 2 years ago
if there is evidence, faith is not required. faith is belief without evidence. if there really was a god, not just a figment of people's imagination, there would be evidence, and consensus ideas about what god is. right now there is as many different gods as there are people believing in them. everybody's god is different, which only shows, men created god in his image.
brownbigb 2 years ago
Are you saying God could not conceal evidence of its existence?
ivlfounder 2 years ago
why would he? that would make him too stupid to be god. "i want people to believe in me, but i am gonna conceal my existence. i want the to love me without proof that i exist" if that is the case, that god chooses to conceal himself, then god could not ever be found, which is as good as if it doesn't exist. certainly answering prayers would be out of the question. wait, answering prayers is out of the question anyway, either god's gonna do something, or not, but he can not change his mind.
brownbigb 2 years ago
Your failure to understand the actions of God does not make your wish that God not exist a fact.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
i don't whish for god to not exist. but there is no evidence for god. and that which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence as well.
how many gods do you believe in? which ones?"
brownbigb 2 years ago
Really you don't wish for God not to exist?
ivlfounder 2 years ago
no i don't. but wishing really has nothing to do with it. the people that believe in god do so because they wish for a god to exist. wishing is irrelevant in that case too. i don't wish either way, but i see no reason to accept that there is a god. and until such reason arises, i accept that there isn't one.
brownbigb 2 years ago
Wishing is what drives people.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
i disagree. i don't think wishing has ever accomplished anything. about as useful as prayer.
brownbigb 2 years ago
Years ago a couple of guys wished to fly and they did.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
what does a couple of guys wishing to fly have to do with anything?
brownbigb 2 years ago
Wishing can be a very good thing.
In there case it resulted in flight.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
that is not wishing. wishing doen't get anything done. that is ambition. they didn't wish to fly. they wanted to accomplish flying. big difference. wishing, just like praying is a passive behavior, accomplishing is an active behavior. wishing does not imply any effort to achive it.
brownbigb 2 years ago
Oh but it was their wish that drove them.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
no. wish can't drive. it is a passive behavior. it is their ambition, their hunger to succeed that drove them.
i wish to win an olympic gold. means nothing. hard work towards it, and an ambition to succeed is the only thing that will accomplish it. you have to learn the distinction between active and passive behaviors.
brownbigb 2 years ago
Wishing if often the foundation for attempting.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
you're not getting it. wishing is not the foundation for achievement. for attempting .....maybe. but attempting and trying is what losers do. it's a half assed way of following a passive behavior.
the people that succeed don't attempt, they do.

Let's just cut right to the chase....
Since you are making the claim that god exists, what evidence do you have for his existence???
CaneFu 2 years ago
That is not the point of this video.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
"That is not the point of this video"
It is the point of the debate we have been having so quit sidestepping my question and present your evidence that god exists.
CaneFu 2 years ago
"Uh, they all believe in DIFFERENT gods, and that's a problem since according to most religions each has the one and only true god. The fact is that I can list many famous people that also smoke cigarettes, but that doesn't make that a good thing either. Religious people try to dictate policy in the U.S. and hold back science, thereby holding back the human race. I fail to see how believing in their imaginary friend can be considered a good thing."
This is the debate as you started it.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
ivlfounder
Why don't you just answer my simple question...
"What evidence do you have that your Christian god exists?"
Quit making excuses and just answer my question and quit trying to run away from it.
CaneFu 2 years ago
ivlfounder
If you don't answer my question I can only assume that you have no evidence for your god and therefore you believe irrationally....and this reinforces my argument that there may be something wrong with people that believe in a god with no idea why they do.
CaneFu 2 years ago
google: "Mahatma Gandhi - ONE WORLD"
You will find in that video much of what you need.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
how many gods do you believe in?
brownbigb 2 years ago
I don't think it matters in this context.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
I got this video in my inbox, or I wouldn't know it exists. I only watched a few moments and I'm puzzled by it's purpose. Is the author implying that the likes of Muhammad Ali, Bruce Springsteen, MICHAEL MOORE and ALICE COOPER are believers in Jesus Christ? Not that I'm aware of. Strange. --Paul
abigailmiller 2 years ago
No they all believe in God.
Muhammad Ali is a Muslim after all.
FTR some of the people in this video are also Christians.
ivlfounder 2 years ago
So do the devils.
John 14:6

It does however contain Christians.
ivlfounder 2 years ago

One is to show just how stupid it is when faith haters insult people for their believing in God.

Actually some of the people in this video feel they believe in the same God.
Unlike cigarettes Church attending people seem to live longer.
The activities of some are far from the activities of all and thinking like you do runs the risk of racism.
