  • You've had the benefit of a father. I'm glad for you. I haven't. Hard to enjoy this.

  • good vid xaves. i liked the way you covered broadly how some relationships with their dads may not be as ideal. such is my case.

  • I'm aware that everybody's situation is different. However, the one constant is the need to make up and try to make moving forward, if possible, more pleasant and loving.

  • yeah, im 25 and i'm still Daddys little girl, that will never change!

  • Well, Christina, without you ever posting, I would've probably guessed that on my own. You are such a wonderful person. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as the saying goes.

  • Great message! I talked for a long time with Dad yesterday on the phone. Dad has always been an inspiration and a strength to me. I just finished military medical training on the same base that he did, almost 40 years after he did. Dads not only empower their sons, but they empower their daughters too, just as he did me. ~Jen

  • what a great, uplifting story, ladylove1972. you are very lucky to have such a wonderful father. Thanks for posting.

  • my father is the reason i joined the Navy Seals, i wasnt good enough for him back when i was younger i was never good enough it was always my little bro that did everything right, evn when i went to join the marines but they werent good enough for him so i went ahead and joined the Navy Seals he said i couldnt do it but look whos laughing now, now we get along like nothing ever happened

  • Bloodshot: it's ironic how time seems to change people's views and attitudes. I'm glad that the relationship with your father is now leveled off and seems like nothing ever happened. Moms and dads, after all, are human and are not perfect.

  • Well yes and no Xaves. I am still Daddy's little girl, but there was structure from my Mom. Not my Dad.

My Dad just returned from a trip today, and I called him just in time to WAKE HIM UP from his NAP. I think he missed his sofa most =) LOL

    Oh well, I tried!

  • KweenHuman: I realize that everybody's situation is different. It's always hard to "hit" everybody's world, per se. I am glad that you're still "Daddy's Little Girl":)

  • Always will be! We NEED each other =)

No Mom left..... so we are closer than we ever were when I was a kid. I just wish I hadn't woken him up at 4 PM!

I think your videos are GREAT =)

  • <i>Nice!

  • thanks for checking in, Lou:)

  • thanks for checking in, the thecomputernerd01. I'll go over to check out your stuff after I post this.
