@TheTendertoxcity Looks like you haven't seen the Hi Point 4595TS Carbine. Take that .45 ACP deer hunting, unlike the Glock, a good shot placement from a carbine will ensure that the deer wont just get up and run like what you saw in this video.

Uncle Ted hunts with the Glock 10mm alot on his Ranch in Michigan and Texas Free Range hunting and what is the difference hunting high fence?I have hunted High fence (7500 acres) and it isnt a guarantied harvest or to even see a animal that you want to take.I also have hunted the free range of Northern Wisconsin with a pistol (Ruger 480).Pistol is alot more of a challenge for the hunter shots within 30 yards.

@OutdoorAdventures just a bit of advice, go without the "spring" noises when animals jump after you shoot them, some people dont find killings things to exactly be a "funny" hobby and id hate to think that someday me or my son couldnt hunt because of dopey people trying to make funny videos for laughs on the internet pissing off the anti hunting crowd enough to get them to do something

Also use a rifle, its not like theres anything sporting about hunting at all anyway

@SupremeAmerican The diff is that you know a glock is gunna shoot everytime when you pull the trigger. Unlike a hi-point which you can go pick up from an average dollar store. Hi-points have feed problems, they "chimney" there empty casings, they break, and are unreliable. Just saying

And people say a 45 isn't that effective. Can't do that with a 9mm. Really even if you where aloud too, a 9mm is junk! I have always believed the 45 acp to be a great hunting cartridge but never could use it myself where I live in colorado. We allow handgun hunting but have this ridiculous cutoff limit where they must have a minimum impact energy of 550 ft lbs of energy at 50 yards or higher. Thats fine for elk but I would drop it down to 500 or 400 for deer sized game.

If you want to get serious leave the Glocks alone. Glock is a good gun, but not for deer hunting. I got a S&W 610 10MM years ago and deer hunt with it every year. In fact it will be the only gun I hunt with this year. I shoot Hornady 200 grainers. Oh yeah leave the .45 alone too ballistically it sucks compared to the 10mm.

@MrStickbow 10mm will take down a grizzly with FMJ rounds, make sure you buy buffalo bore ammo as regular 10mm ammo loaded by federal is weak. You can also buy a conversion barrel to turn the 10mm into a .40 sW

Glock 21 is one awesome handgun. I use it for white tail management too! Though the aluminum casings I use for target practice are much louder then brass casing ammo. Ear protection is a must with aluminum casings. Great video!
