Oh and other than that , i hear you didnt use any Frequency Crossover - so doing that right away all the time is going to KIll your Sub lol ^^ The easyest way to get good Sound out of it would be to Buy an Active Subwoofer Module - and to make a better enclosure.
Sounds like a big fail in production. Even if that would be "port noise" then the port is TOO big , way TOO big ^^ It just flutters away - theres no tight Bass sound at all =/ You Should have made it a Bandpass Enclosure :)
My Selfbuilt Iso-Barik Visaton/RRR Subwoofer (60kg Weight 5cm MDF 65cm Height) definitly doesnt make that kinda sounds :) And the Port is Exactly tuned to 30hz with a 4,5cm Hole & 9cm Length ^^
@tylerwalker2 ummm do you know what port noise is, this sub is actually very capable put upwards of 400rms on it already and it too it, and it is rated at 200rms. What subs do you have. I now have 2 10"JBL Gti, look at my others videos. But that aint distortion you are hearing, and you won't hear the bass cuz the camera can't pick up frequencies lower than ~50hz.
can you hear the bass ports noise? it whistles like hell ;) You probably need bigger port diameter (and longer at the same time). The air flow is too fast I think!
Dual Voice coil, 4 ohm. If you wire two of them in parallel, the amp will see a 1 ohm load. I had two of these in a sealed enclosure in the 10" powered by the 800.1D PMiller amp in a pick up truck. Amazing setup.
i think the power of your amp is sufficient. but in this song there are some tones that have a really low frequency.. maybe you should put a band-pass filter in front of your sub..
pipe? do u mean port? you dont need a port... ported enclosure provide a deep sound that waves travel more openly. a sealed enclosure provides tighter bass. so plz stop calling people dick heads and expand your knowledge
well since you didnt insult me ill give you the benifit of the doubt and consider your comment. how does it act as if its broken? (i really would like to know for future referances)
now this guy knows what he is sayin. By the way that noise is from the curtain flapping againt the port of the subwoofer. There is a little suspension noise but thats from when the really low end bass kicks in. Its like when you open the tailgate on your subs they dont sound as good. Well thats kinda like what was happenin it was bottoming out a little bit.
you jack ass it does have a PORT, a freakin 4" port, the reason it sounds like that jack ass is because the audible range of the camera's microphone does not include 40 hertz and under. And so u diont hear it. When you buy your next brain you can come back and tell me what you think you know.
I hate when people talk shit they dont know about.
hahahaha, buy a brain. thts funny. yea i have a surrond sound sub that sounded wierd and i found out that it has noise from the wire hole (its not sealed) and a little bit of noise that sounds like paper rattle. but its wal mart brand so whacha xpect? lol
i took this sub and put it in my bros expedition in the same box and everything and damn its louder than the 2 10s we had in there before. Its powered by 200rms and it still shakes and flexes da shit out of the car.
my amp is a technics by panasonic surround sound amplfier with 200 watts at 8 ohms when played in stereo mode on the A channel only, The best thing to go to get that sub pushed is buy a 25 AMP POWER SUPPLY, A CAPACITOR, AND A CAR AMP. I am in the process of doing this, i have everything but my mom has to ship the amp down form the states for me. If you have these stuff or need any info i can help you out with setting it up it.
I had a 600Wrms car amp in my room with a computer power supply but this power supply was not very good for my amp. It was average 11.8/12v at 15A and a car amp need more, average 12v to 14.4v to play correctly. A good power supply like in caraudio shops can easily drive with your amp :). (sorry for my english.. I'm french)
I then took the sub and put it in a homemade home theater style enclosure its amazing for movies, and is alright for music. I now have moved and don't got da sub anymore i have a 15" audiobahn in a 5 cubic foot slot port box tuned to 30 hertz and powered by a 200 watt panasonic house amp, i have a 800 watt sony xplod amp on the way, used it to power up my MTX 4500 in bros car. Well I'll have vids of da audiobahn up in like a few weeks.
yeah these sub can take alot of abuse, i had it in a 2 cubic foot box ported to 40 hertz and i stuck it behind my wardrobe in the corner it was one hell of an ugly and loud ass box. it was in my room along with two sony xplod 10", those are shit but take alotttt of abuse too.
dog this is the shittiest fucking sub you can ever buy, and you are a tool. it sounds like ass
