I'll give you my take on the song: Its no wonder why kids find school boring-they're flooded with knowledge in outdated forms and media-no wonder we have dropouts and kids being put on drugs for attention deficit and entering gangs. Knowledge is valued more highly than creativity and imagination. Kids want to be kids and enjoy life-not be so bombarded by things. Doesn't help that materialism (hence Epicureanism mentioned) has run rampant and that society has become pretty dis-functional...
