@MrStamps10 Actually, many really good players I play with say that titleist are the best drivers in golf...I really like his finish but there are other swings I`d take over his. His swing relies on timing way too much, in my opinion. Nice to look at but when his timing is off, we can see that 4th round at the masters a lot....

@mousavsm his 4th round at augusta was more down to his strategy and mental approach. all week he had been going for the pins he had a decent chance at but on the final day he stopped doing that in an effort to protect his lead. new situation for him led to him making the wrong decicions

Guys you don't seem to see the full picture here he is coming under with his knees pushing his knees towards the ball which restricts the amount of space you need in the downswing his right arm is way behind him but look at hips hips they are very open and but his arms are behind him and the club. What saves him is his tremendous ability to clear his hips. This camera angle is not the best but pause at 0:06 an look where his club and arms are. In that position I want the club more infront of me.

@mogy71 Yes Can't you se that his swing is not consistent or his technique is not good it requires alot of timing it's hard to be consistent with that swing. But sometimes it works and he shoots rounds in the 60's and sometimes when he is off he shoots 80. Streaky player.

and you don't know anything about swingmechanics I talked with my coach about rorys swing he agreeed with me but his ability to clear his hips so well and his extension through the ball is really good aswell but his right arm in the dowswing is almost behind his back in a really "stuck" position but what saves him is his ability to clear his hips so well that is my take on that.

@f0cusen the only thing that will put him off on his timing is his emotions. he is susceptible to choking. but with age he will be better to overcome those fears. i wouldn't say mac is better than tiger but i would say with his last us open demonstration, he is capable to challenge tiger. i said challenge and not beat cause it would depend on mac running on all cylinders to beat tiger. mentally, tiger is the ultimate golfer.

He seems to have the same problem that I have though. His hips stop at impact, and then continue turning after. Doesn't seem to be a huge problem but I'm told they're supposed to keep turning through the shot. The stopping is a sign of "jumping" at it.
