Absolutely love the story, the animations are great, really hit the French artistic feel (If I've got my history in check...), but the sound effects are a bit dodgy. Too much white noise in the back ground when there are sound effects. Overall 8.5/10.

Loved the style. The angles they used subtly made the it a bit more dramatic, like they were the only people in each others lives. Overall I enjoyed it but the sound fx should not have overpowered the music; it grossly detracted from the entire film.

What I didn't like was at the end when he threw the string, there was no reaction or feeling from either party concerning how the string fell short of its target or how the owl picked it up. Also, the tone of the guy did not fit the aesthetics.
