Like a concert? Didnt think so. Also DJs have to MAKE the tracks to RECORD them. In clubs this will be a lot more popular than a simple turntable but thats all... This was created for show nothing more. Nothing to do with talent, or " being a better artist ".

@gyeofhell It's basically MaxMSP visualised for the audience. Lloops, oscillators, filters etc are called forward when physical objects are placed on the surface and read by the OMR. Their unique marks denote their function (e.g. 'play audio loop #2') and the system keeps loops in time automatically. Chaining objects together allows for slightly more complex signal manipulation, but nothing as complex as what is possible with Max. It's only REAL function is visualisation; it's a light show.

Every cube has it's own properties the square cubes are soundwaves bij turning the blocks, the frequency from the wave will change, by changing the circle around the cubes he changes the amplitude of the wave.

I think also that every side of the cube has it own properties and you can put songs on each site like this one from rihanna.

Also the distance between the cubes and to the middle of the table has something to do with the sound i think.
