I got the 3DS version with my 3DS, and despite having Ocarina of Time on my Wii already, I can say that I would easily spend $60 on the new version. And it doesn't even cost that much.

sigh.... I am on the brink.. the BRINK mind you of getting a 3ds. I totally dislike handhelds purely for the reason that i lose all of my game cartridges. When they said they were releasing ocarina of time and star fox 64 on the platform i just lost it. Once they get a majora's mask released on the 3ds i'll buy it, but purely for those 3 games.

omg the graphics are way different, just amazing, but its not the same. I can't believe how much they improved, its jaw dropping, unbelieveable, impressive... to bad I can't play it I don't have a 3DS or a wii. I can't even play Skyward Sword, but I played all the other zelda games like oot, mm, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess even the ds ones, and more...(sigh)

if you overlay your monitor with .75 mm flitted volumetric glass / plastic, aswell as re wire your comp to display high focus groove - groove display!

oh this might completely ruin the display for pretty much every other thing you do on your computer, but for this it should work like a charm!

@TheChikoritaGirl that is not the topic.He is just saying that nintendo only added the 3d effect and that is not true....the game is not just a port. the graphics are new and with far more detail and that makes the whole experience better...people say graphics are not important. but they are, not as much as the gameplay and story elements but still needed

That IS the topic. What he's saying is that OoT3D is nothing more than a port of Master Quest with better graphics and some minor changes (mirrored status for MQ, Double Damage in MQ, help for newcomers by Visions, inventory change, and two new modes that honestly were a tradition back in the emulator days). So what if graphics are good? That made OoT3D worse in my opinion although I do like the other additions.

Just a quick video I made for those that are anxious to see some of the differences. I am planning to make more in the future if requested. Some of the video is not as good as opposed to playing on the 3DS. I used my low-end camera too close to my 3DS screen. My apologies. and yes, this game is totally worth it for me. The first person view makes it seem you are really there, gyroscope slingshot never felt as satisfying! XD
