I disagree. They way socialism really works is by committees of people, under democratic rights, so that no-one can take advantage of the other. I disagree. They way socialism really works is by committees of people, under democratic rights, so that no-one can take advantage of the other. There is no...gene in humans that make them want a larger share. It is the glorification of money that does that. And also it is a matter of what -system- they live in. Yes, if they live in "a ruthless economic jungle" they adopt and do as you say. But what if they are NOT born inside that kind of system?

Capitalism works because some people are profiting off the billions of workers who work off their asses day by day and still stay poor. Yes, the bourgeois class, CEOs, and represantatives definitely are responsible for the unbelievable poverty that still exists now even though our technology could actually supply a decent life for everyone.

And if you say "for the greater good", a sound, free economy is good for all (not just in this country) You also need to look up actual statistics on just how many people actually inherit vs those who earn. This rediculous idea that you have where you think that you get control by giving govt total control is insane to me.

The kids in the third world who sew t-shirts 11 hours a day for a ridiculous wage would love to spend years educating themselves and become succesful, but unfortunately they can't because they need to work for some boss. The people that profit of capitalism are directly responsible for the suffering of the workers. So it's just fair to wish for their lives to "suck ass" til we make the revolution.

Yeah, its horrible, those kids should stop working, except that their family needs them to. If "sweatshops" closed down, do you know how many millions would starve? Do you realize they get paid more than many jobs in their country? Do you realize that their jobs are often safer than other alternatives in their country? Or that until the early 20th century child labor was quite common in the US? I think if we had more child labor in the US tweens, teens & 20's wouldn't be so stupid.

The band isn't hypocritical because they aren't against being rich...they're against corporate assholes trying to control every aspect of your life, coercing you into doing things a certain way and then fucking you over...
If you have a problem with people "being rich" - you'd better get over it. Because no matter what political system you have, you're going to have winners and losers. SSSC just want the game to be fair...

I know what you mean. I got nothing against SSSC. Actually, I like their music. Its just that they have to stop this whole fight the "man" thing. It sounds very naive and juvenile coming from someone my age( 19 years old) but downright stupid from people their age when they actually profit from all that they condemn.

Actually there's no revolution without uprising/anarchy... You must CRUSH the old, decaying and rusty system to build another one... If you don't, then basicly system will stay the same only apperiance, a makeup, will make it appear as differen't one... Take an example, US voted Obama who isn't a dumb fuck like Bush nor war hound like Clinton; But DID things CHANGED when the mechanism behind the presidental pupet staied the same?
