@dragonrideronfire is a good protection plan for ur house...but it's been bred out of them for the most part and until you've seen a good, key word, GOOD guard dog you wouldn't know....all you get is whats fed to you on mainstream TV that portrays a dog of doing what is natural to their instincts...but, with proper training you can teach the obedience and only use it in completely necessary situations....if you owned a doberman and were getting mugged...wouldn't you want it to protect you??
