@argstudio Ah, I see. It looked vector based to me. I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sorry if it came off insulting. I found a copy of the original a moment ago. Not too bad fo something done with a mouse on old hardware/software.
If this was done seriously, I find it fairly derivative of old Warner Brothers and Hanna-Barbera cartoons where the same gag had often been used to much greater effect.
At best, it looks like the work of a first year animation student.
Spend some more time studying the basics, and maybe try out some competitions like the 11 second club. Try to get some mastery of frame by frame animation before relying on the shortcuts that Flash provides.
@SmallPoly Thanks for the critique. Sorry you were disappointed. It's true that we don't always wait for a masterpiece before posting on YT. We thought it was fun, anyway. It's kind of a tribute to our late director, Kirk Kennedy.
Oddly enough, this didn't use much Flash. It was originally animated on an Amiga, drawn with a mouse and it showed up everywhere 1990s as an animated GIF. An intern traced it frame by frame in Photoshop, and only the smoke is Flash.
