  • Dave I know you your not a Phantom fan, but they sell those Wild West cakes so I was wondering if thats where you got them.

  • @marcusdangerous it's pyrotalk.com if your into consumer fireworks, my website is quesojim.com

  • Is the website still up ?

  • hi dave i have ordered the £35.00 firing system of the website you have said in the video im in the uk and i found it really hard to get something decent lol i have also realised he has quick match which i was desparate to get my hands on so thank you for telling us the web site.

  • I know you don't have any more of the firing systems, but will you be selling them again? I'd love to get one. If not, maybe you could PM me your source and I could buy direct. I'd rather buy from you though, even if it was $10-$20 more it would be going to a good cause. Either way, here's wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year.

  • @stripedbassnut I may be working with someone to develop another system similar to this one. I will know more over the next few months. Yes, all the ones I had are sold out and all the ones my affiliate in the United Kingdom had are also sold out.

  • Another quality video Dave. Thanks alot for putting so much of your own time and money into these productions. They are a GREAT resource for beginnning fireworks enthusiasts.

  • I wonder, isn't it dangerous to let shells fall into there tube like that - 1:54 ? Doesn't that cause friction and may initiate a early unwanted detination in your face?

  • @RoyVuurwerk im pretty sure the chemicals inside the shell are stable enough to not have an unwanted detonation. if the chemicals in the shell were unstable, the shell would probably blow up with the lift charge.

  • @RoyVuurwerk if you were dealing with nitroglycerin, you would have a problem. I have never heard of shells going of by dropping them. I've seen shells crushed without exploding. But, better safe than sorry. Electric igniters can't be treated like the shell in this video, like you can see in one of Dave's videos.

  • Where do you get your fiberglass mortars from?

  • i need to get one of those......maybe 2

  • can you re use those igniter's. May seem like a dumb question but I dont know. Do you still offer how to get your class B lis.? Thanks

  • @swan714 No you cant reuse the ignitors right after using it.

You have to get a new wire in there which you should get from the same place that sell these electronic matches.

  • @Jasonsenipor thank you

  • why is land of confusion by disturbed being played in the background?

  • Comment removed

  • That Firing system is the best pyro investment Ive made.............

  • Nice video Thanks! , by the way what kind of fountains are those.

  • I am getting my first wireless system and some Talon Igniters for Christmas :)

  • Could you explain the 1.3 bit about fireworks, i think its to do with like 1.3g thing but could like it explained to me please

  • @PyroLukeUk I see you are from the UK. I am from United States. Perhaps someone from the United Kingdom can explain in more specific detail to you.

  • @PyroLukeUk - 1.3g fireworks are big display (pro) fireworks in the US. You need a federal license to transport/store them.

1.4g are consumer fireworks in the US. As a consumer you can buy, depending upon state law, 1.4g fireworks as a member of the public.

In the UK 1.3g are legal for consumers as long as you buy 1.3g cakes (Such as the comically named King Hell) or 1.3g rockets such as the King Rocket. They are dam expensive... (see Epic fireworks website). 1.4g are therefore....

  • by default legal in the UK............. With the exception of reloadable shells (since two people blew their heads off in the mid '90s) and bangers (US firecrackers) and other 'pocket money' fireworks. Other big 1.3g stuff is legal because it is deemed that only adults can afford them.

That said, you don't really need a license (At least back in the late '90s you did not) for big reloadable shells.

  • About '98 or '99 my friend bought a couple of 6" shells which were delivered to him via the post office. We set them off in a back garden in London one night. No one cared.... The police have got more pressing things to deal with....

  • @rob18767 cheers for that :)

  • @PyroLukeUk Basically 1.3G are professional used so there the much bigger fireworks that you see in big displays, 1.4G are back garden fireworks that we use on Bonfire night so I think it's something to do with the amount of explosive power they have but not too sure on that.
