The VIP means it's a VIP version of the track. It's just the normal track, but a bit different.

The differences can be enormous, like total new effects, drums etc, or small like a the bassline that's made a bit longer, or just another kickdrum or w/e.

Producers make them to stay exclusive when the original is already released, and often VIP's are only for the producer itself or some other important dj's. It doesn't happen often that they are actually released.

@nilsfg0 true true but i would say though that nowadays more and more VIP's are gettin released if they recieve any decent recognition. i know you put the comment 11 months ago but just looking at this week for example, ghost town vip, ho bass vip, evasion remix vip all gettin a release! seems artists are jus puttin anything out they think they can make some coinr on
