  • this was a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle & travel trailer road test. The trailer was made somewhere in Indiana, but I am not sure by whom. This trailer was created after the increased popularity of the then called "mini-car".

  • I can't even pull my dad's fifth wheel with my silverado....

  • I can't imagine a Beetle being able to tow a 5th wheel trailer. It'd need either a more powerful engine or lighter weight 5th wheel trailer.

  • Looks/Sounds like it's from an episode of Car and Track.

  • they dont sale that trailer any more? if they do i will like to get one

  • Sweet

  • Fabulous! What a Tiny Trailer concept!

  • I would love this----almost worth punching a hole in the roof and permanently putting a ball up there. I'll bet you could build one out of a standard camper and wheels....

  • I don't know? That attachment point looks a little...S C A R Y !!!

  • @kanukster Well, it does reduce roll-overs...

  • Does anyone have more information of this beauty? Thanks already!

  • that is so neet

  • fucken awsome !!! :P

  • I always knew I should have kept my '74 Superbeetle. I could have saved so much money on rent etc. lol

  • holy crap, is that Teddy Sarandis talking?

  • THATS THE COOLEST SHIT EVER!!!!!

  • If only they had such things like this today - No one would ever have a valid excuse why there not RVing anymore.
