You can run an engine for 20 or 30 seconds sans coolant.
Just dont make a habit of it. Basically you can just test that it starts. You will notice in the video that the engine actually cuts out somewhat when revved, this is due to no values in the tune and no transient enrichment. Cheers peeps.
Not really high tension wires s such. Instead it is a set of coil on plug ignition coils from a current model 1.8 litre 1zzfe engined corolla. They just need to be bolted down onto some custom lugs that you attach to the cover. You also need to sand about 1/2 a mm off the tube diameter to make them fit snug.
Its my old motor that a friend bought from me and had it rebuilt with a Toda racing head that has 264 duration camshafts and retains the VVT system. I think it made 135hp at the wheels from memory in a KE70
sounds great!!! What type of ignition is being used?

@MJBOGAN How fast does that heat up with no cooling? Clean motor.

what kind of high tension wires are those?

No.
A stock example of this engine costs around 1500 dollars in used front wheel drive form from an importer.
You can just buy your own. This particular engine came from Brisbane Motor Imports (BMI) originally.

No I cannot build motors.
