geez lived in halgreen ave '73 - '88. amazing how memories come flooding back. it wasn't living the high life but it was friendly and happy, good pals, good neighbours, good ice cream vans! i remember the city bakeries vans and big mo shouting 'MORNIN RECORD' every night at 11ish (except sunday!) long hot summers of '75 and '76 .doggin school and hiding in the close till my mum went to work. stealing all the wee lightbulbs out the close fuse boxes in fettercairn ave. ah those were the days ....
