Anyone know of Kiske material in which he sings in the same style as "The Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt. 1 and 2?" All I come across is stuff that doesn't really sound like the Kiske I remember from Helloween.

@firstroundko108 Kiske somewhat changed his singing style after the Keepers. He still uses it when singing metal songs. The tracks he has sang for "Avantasia" are the best examples (The Tower, Reach Out For..., Shelter From The Rain), try the song Wastelands: watch?v=MQQgV4USPLg

Kiske, Kotipelto & Tolkki are the best power metal vocalists... Kiske has a sensation and a range, Kotipelto has a ridiculously high range and an utterly dramatic falsetto, and Tolkki (though isn't the same class with Kotipelto & Kiske when it comes to range and quality) has a most emotional voice I've ever heard in power metal - he sang "Lead us into the light" and "Tears of ice" with an emotion that any other power metal singer couldn't emulate...

@POTIS1 Actually, I really prefer Tolkki's voice over Kotipelto on the first 3 albums of Stratovarius because Tolkki has emotion and sounds like he cares about the songs while Kotipelto's voice is really clipped and sounds like he just showed up for a job and that's all.

Any other Singer Fails in Comparison to Kiske. He is a Legend among the others. To bad he didn't join RR as a Full Time Memeber It would have Helped Tolkki Sell alot more Albums and Given them alot more Credibility.

Bueno que puedo decir.... Michael es uno de mis cantantes favoritos, posee una calidad vocal envidiable y es de lejos mejor esta version que la de timo sorry Timo. Pero tambien hay que considerar que el tema inicial solo fue un demo y la musica ayuda bastante al cantante kiske. Saludos a la gente.

i do like Lande and i've listened to some of his solo albums, Masterplan, Ark and Avantasia: The Scarecrow - his best performance IMHO.

But i don't agree that he is the best singer today...He is good when he is loud, he has powerful screams, he sounds great when he uses his raw/raspy tone but both his clean and low deliveries are nothing special. In contrast to you I don't like him in ballads for those reasons.

IMO he lacks the clearness, range and emotion of Kiske's voice, but that is just me
