Your story is very inspiring that it is. It is wonderful to see people achieve their goals, both for life as well as for the cosplays they aspire to do. I too aspire to be a cosplay maker. there is this thing called papakura and u can make the powersuit out of paper with this thing all u have to do is find the files on the internet for the power suit if u cant find any ill be happy to make the files and send them free of charge for u. PS i have made half of my iron man suit with this program and once the paper is done u can fiber glass it and it will be incredibly strong.

@HardcoreXboxFan Enought with the Other M hate already, Samus Aran was physically as tough as ever in Metroid Other M and just as smart as ever in Metroid Other M, and if she was truly a crybaby b#%th then why was it just Ridley she fell into shock over why didn't she fall into shock over the other enemy's and bosses in Metroid Other M, face it the reason she froze up infront of Ridley was far more personal then because of how physically powerfull Ridley.
I lost my mother to cancer in 2010, so I understand what you went through. I'm glad you found something to focus on and pulled yourself up and out of the dark. Never let it win and always remember there are people who care for you and will help you should you feel yourself becoming overwhelmed.

And you should definitely build a power suit. I once built a Boba Fett costume a long time ago, mostly out of plexiglass. It was tough, but worth it in the end!!

In April 2010 my cousin died of cancer at the age of 33. He was kind of the only one I could really relate to in my whole family. Was a great loss for me too. Have you made this suit on your own?
While the costume was simply amazing, it was the story that really made me love this video. What a great story! Have you thought about using rubber instead for your zero suit? It looks better IMO but is less comfortable to wear. Check Ebay, seller name super-qiqi, a great zero suit goes for $200 or so :o

That's an amazing story. I'm a pretty damn big fan of basically all the Nintendo games. Zelda, Metroid, Mario, etc. Metroid has always been awesome with the unique and exciting story of the lone wolf samus. She can pretty much kick any guy's ass, great choice of role model. I check out a lot of cosplay cuz it's cool seeing how much people love the characters. You have done an amazing job with the costume, I would LOVE it if you'd manage to make the powersuit :) best of luck!

That's an amazing story. I'm a pretty damn big fan of basically all the Nintendo games. Zelda, Metroid, Mario, etc. Metroid has always been awesome with the unique and exciting story of the lone wolf samus. She can pretty much kick any guy's ass, great choice of role model. I check out a lot of cosplay cuz it's cool seeing how much people love the characters. You have done an amazing job with the costume, I would LOVE it if you'd manage to make the powersuit :) best of luck!

thats a great cosplay, but more importantly that is a incredible feat you accomplished, ive never seen someone use a video game character as a role model like that, and with samus having such a amazing figure i dont think you could have chosen a harder body type. But you pull it off nicely.

There are plenty of other consoles out there that define gaming as a hobby (ie: SNES, dreamcast, PS2, GBA, etc.)
