I know that icelandic has not changed much in the last 1000 years or so, not that i understand much of either old norse or modern icelandick. I am Danish and have the scandinavian language furthest from old norse :(
If you goal realy is to promote this band you have done so. I have just ordered the album. Also I have read that the old lyric rules very deficult but if you could translate to any nordic language or english it would be much easier to get and idea of the context. Til slut TAK!

Funny thing about this video Skálmöld really liked this video and asked me to post it on YouTube so it would get some audience cos I made this video and posted on my Facebook before and showed it to them. But I got theyre unofficial "do it" from the band cos as you know the record label prohibits any distribution but all and all I really doubt that thay are complaining now with this hit record lol. For example I doubt you have bought this album if not for this and all other videos for the band
@Loftgitar it basically means that the main hero of the story (in the lyrics) is trying to find a sertain persone hes saying he would climb even the darkest of mountains to get to him. i should know because im Icelandic. and to say the least Icelandic has changed ALOTT since the last 1500 years.
