I live in Aden, the way I see it is there is a little hate towards them just like there is a little hate towards blacks in America because they do crimes. In Yemen there is little hate towards them because some of them are trouble makers.

Thats because they go to San'a instead of Aden. My father was raised in Aden and I know that there are MANY Somalis who have been living there for generations. Southern Yemenis are very different from Northern Yemenis since they have almost the same culture as us. They even wear Ma'awis and chew khat lol.

99% of Somalis are Muslim. I am Somali myself and I've never met a non-Muslim Somali, and I have tons and tons of Somali relatives and friends and we are all connected through our community. However, you're very right, similarities in religious beliefs shouldn't be the only reason people help each other but I believe that comment was just to point out that Somalis aren't as different from Yemenis as some Yemenis believe.

even their communities, when I you go to a somali city in america you will find their Masjids packed just like the yemeni masjids and they even share the love of qat with the yemenis lol
the woman's situation with the children fastened with the bed has really hit me the hardest and the elderly with the 7 years old child, i am in tears (as every human being would be).

I live in Aden, the way I see it is there is a little hate towards them just like there is a little hate towards blacks in America because they do crimes. In Yemen there is little hate towards them because some of them are trouble makers.
I would have to say that most of them are kind. Almost half of my friends in Yemen are Somalian, and like Bez29 says we have similar culture so we get along fine.

99% of Somalis are Muslim. I am Somali myself and I've never met a non-Muslim Somali, and I have tons and tons of Somali relatives and friends and we are all connected through our community. However, you're very right, similarities in religious beliefs shouldn't be the only reason people help each other but I believe that comment was just to point out that Somalis aren't as different from Yemenis as some Yemenis believe.

the woman's situation with the children fastened with the bed has really hit me the hardest and the elderly with the 7 years old child, i am in tears (as every human being would be).

I have visited Yemen the past two summers and its a sad place to be. The country is so poor that even the yemenese are in trouble.
