  • There is a real irony to all of this. I mean, in general, the claims that 80s metal had satanic messages in them were unfounded. And, now, we've got metal bands with songs that actually DO have said messages in them, when these musicians might not have even done so if not for getting the idea.... from the religious right! HA!

  • gniz ama era seg ass em sdraw kcab ese h t ! WOW

  • Needs more "Flittermice As Satans Spies"

  • I will start to ear my new albuns backwards..

  • I could really go for some cheese wiz. Holy shit, actual backmasking! Not the made up bullshit!

  • I literally could not even get halfway through cuz u can feel the evil

  • Thumbs up if Satan its cheez whiz !

  • dude this is getting pretty fucked up right here

  • Wow... that's creepy...

  • Aleister Crowley is somebody everyone should keep in mind when it comes to listening to music.

  • i honestly didnt notice that u misspelled canada til u said

  • Fuck You!!!! God Bless You brother

  • Everyone knows "Hell Awaits" was an intentional backward masking!

  • "She's giving me the evil eye, suck satan's cock."

  • The tenacious d song is karate

  • LOL WIERD AL ONE WAS AWESOME!

  • @goodyfun This is a comedy channel where one of the running jokes is bigotry and racial slurs. People who have a problem with that can take their nigger loving asses elsewhere. You think I get paid for this shit or something?

  • MUST.....JOIN.....SLAYER........

  • Coincidence. It's easier to believe something when someone tells you it rather than when you think of it by yourself.

  • @killboxxy If you're telling me these are all coincidence, you obviously haven't done any research on the topic. If you're talking to someone else here then nevermind.

  • @happypranksgiving Eh I didn't mean coincidence ^^, it can't be coincidence if it's not real lol

  • @killboxxy Then you really are stupid.

  • @happypranksgiving @happypranksgiving To believe that Satan is hiding in songs and is revealed by playing the song backwards; is stupid.

Even then Satan only appears in English songs? Is that mean Satan is English or Western?

    Fuck off, loser.

  • @RandomAqStuff What the fuck are you even talking about? Nobody is saying "Satan is hiding in songs," these artists put the messages in there on purpose, for fun or as a joke. Weird Al's messages were put there as a satire of the whole thing, to be funny. A lot of these messages are acknowledged as intentional by the artists.

    Go smoke another one, kid.

  • @happypranksgiving Suck Satans cock? You really think a British pop band with a lot of child fans would have that in a song?

    Go smoke another pole, idiot.

  • The funniest part is, Tim Wheeler(their singer) said in an interview with the BBC that they put that message there. Feel free to check out his May 25 2004 interview with Bren O'Callaghan and feel like even more of a retard.

  • @happypranksgiving Proof or GTFO.

  • The proof is, use Google and look you fucking inbred. You're not looking for proof, you're trolling. You GTFO, faggot.

  • @RandomAqStuff I gave you the fucking date and interviewer as well as interview channel, if you can't figure out how to find the interview with all that info then you're fucking retarded.

  • @RandomAqStuff The fucking lead singer in the bad said they hid a message in there dip fuck. So YOU Go smoke another pole, cause you dont know what the fuck your talkingabout

  • @RandomAqStuff how many child fans would listen to a track backwards?

  • Satan eats cheese whiz!

  • Comment removed

  • wow what the hell....

  • In hell awaits the deep voice says the dutch word for back words then it goes into the Join us.

  • Wow really? Why would they use a Dutch word in there?

  • @happypranksgiving i dont know, youd have to ask Slayer that one. my guess is probably that it sounded closest to welcome back, being its lyric when played forwards, plus it would make a very ironic twist in the song to have it say backwards, but in a different language. thats my take on it anyways,

  • Kill for Satan, Live for God.lol

  • Slayer is gods

  • i think it is really cool but still creeps me out! like the whole subliminal messgae thing is kinda freaky i think haha

  • Canana :D

  • hahahahaha the very last one is funny as hell.

  • Most backwards messages occur unintentionally.

  • The "Armageddon" one is scary either way lol

  • mehhh.... I don't wanna join you, Slayer.

  • Boards of Canada use a lot of backmasking - even "palindromes" which sound the same backwards and forwards. Those guys really know how to use sound as a canvas.

  • when you dont sell big like metallica did this is what you do hahahaha

  • I find all of this hilarious. Its really interesting to see what people with too much time will set out to find in these songs. lol.

  • You forgot "Intensions" with Tool where they tell you to "Stay In School" and "Listen To Your Mother And Father" but otherwise a pretty nice video.

  • I didn't "forget" anything. There are hundreds of backmasked messages in songs. I could hardly even begin to fit all of them in a single video.

That particular message was included in my second backmasking video anyway.

  • i like that boards of canada song but it creeped me out

  • Geez, the first ones scared me but the last ones with Weird Al made me laugh :P

  • Yeah i did that deliberately, so that after all the dark scary shit the video would end with something more lighthearted.

  • All these songs were meant to be played backwords btw.

  • No do you think?

  • I mean some of these songs in these videos aren't meant to be played backwards because some songs are just a bunch of gibberish and people want it to say something so they force it, with these songs they actually have a real message.

  • Yeah I get into that in the second video, though I am highly disputed over the alleged "Stairway to Heaven" messages.

  • I played stairway to heaven backwards an didn't hear shit, then some christian gets it nd says "SEE, RIGHT THERE, it says fuck your mum in the ass with a grim evil upside down crucifix" or something like that, Christians are weird

  • Yeah I agree, I think they hear what they expect to hear.

  • @luke666808g that happens alot. its all over youtube. yours actually reveals true hidden messages not just distortion from playing a song backwards. People hear what they want to hear.

  • @luke666808g if christians are weird thatn what are you i have nothing but prayer for you whom ever you are

  • @coldhearted4life I'm a normal person that doesn't hear subliminal messages which aren't there.

  • What we are are people who don't sit and talk to invisible friends when we're alone, thinking their magic powers are going to help us.

  • Cheese whiz.

  • creepy... but at the same time hilarious XD

  • That ..is.... freaky.... and then theres like also subliminal messages in like everything we watch. The worlds not safe, i'm just going to lock myself in a dark room the rest of my life eeee lol :p

  • Backmasking isn't unsafe. Your mind can't actually decipher the messages. As for the subliminals on TV, I won't necessarily say the same. Then again I haven't watched TV in nearly a year and a half.

  • True true, and I hate TV anyway I would rather go camping or play sports or something. Why would they have that in the music if your mind can't figure it out anyway?

  • Some bands did it to fuck with people and freak them out, some bands have done it as a joke or just for fun, or because it's something they weren't allowed to say normally so they snuck it in there. Sometimes just because it sounded cool. All different reasons.

  • Kill for satan, creepiest for me. holy shit. let me guess thats prolly norweigan black metal?? First Two definetly for me the coolest and scariest.

  • Not sure if they're Norwegian or not. I think they only have like 1 album.

  • but good job, i like how you put slayer on that list. thats was cool.

  • i checked it out theyre norwiegan black metal. lol

  • Haha, I'm not too surprised.

  • There's a tenacious d song that in the end says something backwards,i used a audio editor and the backwards phrase was "donkey crap" xDDDD

  • I think it's "eat donkey crap." Check wiki, they have a pretty good list.

  • I think it was that song "you broke the rules....now i gottta pull your public haaaaair...you motherfuckeeeer"

  • Thanks! If you're into this kind of thing, I'm uploading a part 2 to this in a few minutes. It has more examples of intentional backmasking, as well as a few famous examples of unintentional messages(i.e. paranoid people reading into shit), some history to the phenomenon, and how to find them.

  • the pink floyd one is the freakiest

  • The most common interpretation is it was about Syd Barrett, their founder, original vocalist, writing and guitarist, hence being "old Pink," and since he went insane it mentions the "funny farm." As far as I know, Floyd has never commented on the message in any way or even acknowledged it.

  • After all the satan stuff it would be nice to hear one about rainbows and kittens.

  • I thought the Weird Al ones lightened the mood pretty well at the end. If you want something much more positive though, Information Society has a backwards message in their song "Are Friends Electric" that says "Obey your parents. Do your homework. Winners don't do drugs."
