Ive got a fender mim strat(2004 hss)cost 600$ I have a love hate relationship with it. I know if i would of bought mia i would not have all the problems. Dont get me its a very cool guitar. Ive been playing for 10 years now. So it could be that my taste is more refined now. However i love the guitar. Quick run down of mim
Pro's cheaper,Its fender, looks very nice,Sounds good.
cons(not as smooth as mia but close)Not noisless.(Have to find sweet spots) Humbucker is trebbely(mixed is awsome tone)_
@fudgefreak100 Generally, the more you pay for the guitar, the better quality you get, as in, you pay $2,000, you get $2,000 worth of a guitar. Generally, speaking though, like I said. Obviously, if you take care of your guitar, it will last you.
i'm sorry, i was writing about the tone, but maybe it's your camera... instead i really like the tune itself. really sorry!!! keep on doing your thing, being creative is just priceless
i think this is the one i found on guitar center for 500 dollars. is it a good guitar? is the humbucker good??? im thinking about getting maple for a more bright sound.
The maple on the neck is going to make your tone only a bit brighter which you can achieve using a rosewood neck guitar by turning the highs on the amp a little further. So choose the neck acording to preference in comfortability .
Also this guitar costs over a 1000 dollars. And yes its the best guitar ive tried
How does this baby sound with distortion? I play stuff from grunge to classic rock to heavy metal, so sometimes I need to use some pretty heavy distortion.
@getthepoooffmybum Strats aren't the best for metal, they can certainly do it, but it won't be the best (they're mainly for blues to classic rock kind of stuff with overdrive.)
Amps all right for clean channel. Distortion is a bit sucky with full gain. Still with a good compressor you can get good sounds out of the distortion. If you allready have an OD pedal you can handle this amp very well. I dont recommend this amp for very loud volumes, such as more than 7. Though I used it live in small gigs and it handles well at volume 5.

Greatmk 2 years ago
the deluxe dont get out of tune when using the wammy bar
2old2classic 2 years ago
And the standard one does ?
Greatmk 2 years ago
Depends, I set up my bridge so you can only pull down on the notes, and im using 0.09 strings, and it does not go out of tune.
AcDc109 2 years ago
Yes, the neck in particular si better. And therefore the sound also.

haha, its awsome for heavy distortion, I use it a lot with heavy distortion, its a beast, it squeals very nicely when doing pinch harmonics.

do u recomend the HSS over the regular SSS?
frankafru 2 years ago
Yes I do, I strongly recommend HSS
AcDc109 2 years ago
If you play alot of rock and metal the HSS is the way to go sense the humbucker is good for that.

Ive got a question. Ive always wondered if you could but in a gibson type humbucker or a p90 in the hss slot without routing or drilling. Can you?
ledzepplinisthebest 2 years ago
You can put a humbucker, not a P90, since their size is different. You may have to file a litlle bit the pickguard if the humbucker is covered.
There are also P90s in the size of humbucker that may fit
