The effects will simply keep getting worse, and the less we do, the worse they'll get.

@vidmanx0 It's a complete myth that global temperatures are falling since 1998. 2010 virtually ties 2005 for the hottest year in the 131-year instrument record, while 2009 is the 3rd hottest. Data is based on direct surface temperature measurements supplemented by satellite, ocean buoy and other measurements. The data has been analysed and confirmed by NASA, Meteorological Office UK, NOAA, Japanese Meteorological Agency and many others, and easily confirmed on their websites. Your sources???
