@xSceneRock12x The original? Where do you live? Here in Belgium, the original version was the one where he kills himself in the womb. And after seeing the alternate endings, I still think it's the best. How else can you explain the scene with the fortune-teller who tells Evan and his mother that he has no soul and no lifeline and that he never should have been born? This only makes sense in the version where he kills himself before birth.

@3Oh3metrostation my favourite is definitely when they both turn around and make a coffee date. He sacrificed his relationship with her to make everyone elses life happy and so he deserves to be with her!

It'll be silly that he, after he finally realized that he can't be with her (for the greater good of their friends), he actually comes back with her again. Thats why i pick he first ending, the saddest one, 'cuz he was never born, i mean That! is sacrifice! And if you really love someone, u'd love that someone to be very happy, even if that means that someone should stay with another man ;(

@DxSteve I disagree because sacrifice doesnt always mean that u won't get what you want at the end. For him to have never been born is just tragic. If anything the ending where they keep walking past each other is better than him never having been born.

But sometimes by giving up that which is for the betterment of others, good things do come your way, including them being together if that's what was meant to be. Maybe they couldn't be together at that given point in time, but later on could possibly cross paths once again.

this is known as the stalker ending. A deleted scene shows news on the television of someone dubbed the 'Noon Day Stalker', who finds a way into homes and steals womens' bras and underwear. The ending is similar to the one shown in the film, except that Kayleigh looks away and carries on walking before Evan turns and looks at her. Evan then follows her, presumably soon to become the 'Noon Day Stalker' mentioned in the earlier, seemingly unconnected, news report.

And speaking of a never ending circle, after knowing this movie word for word, I JUST noticed (like yesterday) that the drawing he made in second grade is a picture of him with a knife standing over the two guys in prison he stabbed. Go check it out and think about THAT. That's crazy. So, it's like not only when he went back and put his hands through those things to show stigmata to Carlos, he also made that drawing... It's so confusing to explain but that's messed up...

The mom never had a miscarriage. She had three stillbirths. Miscarriages are when the embryo doesn't make it past the first trimester. A stillbirth is when the mother brings the fetus to full term and it dies at birth. BIG difference - but I know what you meant. Also, I debate if it was Evan doing it over and over like a never ending circle like you said or if it was Jason who had the same powers and tried to kill Evan at the beginning saying, "he has to die, it's the only way."

I think that theres so many endings because everybody seems to have had a different idea of how the movie should have ended.....I think the directors were also unsure what the best ending should be so they made a few ,and picked what they thought was the best ending ......my fav is when they meet in the street and start to talk

I can't believe that he's running behind her! It seems like he didn't learn of his mistakes! Everything turned bad, again and again. And the most times because of her! He wanted to rescue her and is following her after all. Totally unrealistic. I prefer the DC Ending or the German Ending where they pass each other.
