The first level cause was Influenza. He got a more severe case of
Influenza,because he was then about 5 months after chemotherapy for CLL.
He was in the ICU for right about 30 days.
Transported from smaller hospital Halloween 2009 to Seton NW.
After 1-2 days there they began ventilating him.
another 2 or 3 and into the rotoprone.
I guess he was in the bed for 12? 14 days?
He said he met angels,while in his suspended animation.

Do you know how or what caused him to go in to ARDS? How long was he in critical care?
Glad you made it, Earl! Lots of people who end up in those beds aren't as lucky!!

Yes he did. and just last week (1.5 years later) his lung function has returned to 75% of normal and he feels
happy to be alive! Thanks for asking
