@Killzoneguy117 I believe these verses in the Quran are sufficient evidence that Muhammad's purpose was not only to reveal the Quran but to teach the correct interpretation:
@KlanGirl311 Most people who call themselves Christian don't even believe in most of the bible anyway. Go ahead, ask the average Christian if they believe that day and night were created before the sun or that the earth is only 6000 years old or that talking snakes exist and they'll tell you no. The Bible, along with the Quran, Torah, and any other religious scripture, is an impediment to progress.
@playthefield21 Not really. Its the people who interpret the books and call them as a call for a war of hate that are an impediment to progress. There are others however who take the books as a call to for an end to hate. I know quite a few Muslims who, after reading the Qu'ran, interpreted as a call to love despite some of the verses that call for Jihad. These books are based and are very open to interpretation. You might just've interpreted them a different way then me.
@Killzoneguy117 i'll grant you that some verses are ambiguous and can reasonably be interpreted in different ways. Others however are very clear, very barbaric, and it doesn't make sense to try to sugarcoat them.
@playthefield21 its true that some verses sound barbaric. But you have to take into account the time and the place the book was written in. You cannot just compare it to modern standards. They are very different from the ethics of the time. Sharia is a great example of this. Yes, by today's standards, it seems barbaric, but during 636 AD in Arabia, Sharia was actually the most reasonable if not standard system of law compared to what the other ones were.
@Killzoneguy117 The problem with the Quran is that it can't be changed, or rather believers think it shouldn't be because then it won't be "God's law" anymore. If you did, there would be no point in following it as a religious scripture anymore because it would now be filled with the words of men instead of god.
As for shariah law, it's rules have been set down clearly by the hadeeth. You can't change that either unless you want to deviate from Islam as it was taught by your prophet.
@playthefield21 I wasn't explaining Sharia. I was merely using it as an example. I was saying that if you were to compare all religious scriptures by today's standards, they would seem barbaric. Also, my point wasn't as much as changing the words in the Koran as it was changing the interpretation that comes from it. Problem is, most of the Mullahs are Right-Wing and very conservative. There are not enough Left-Wing, Liberal Muslims in the world such as myself and my family.
@Killzoneguy117 When it comes to religion though, conservatism is the "right" way, it's the only way that conforms to religious scripture. Sure you can come up with new interpretations, but the whole point of the hadeeth is to show you what the right and intended interpretations were.
If you think you know better than your own prophet and sahaba then by all means go ahead and invent new interpretations. Hell, as an Atheist I'd support you, it brings religion one step closer to going away.
@playthefield21 Well I'm not trying to prove that I'm better than my Prophet. The Prophet's job was simply to go to God, get the words from God, give it to the people and let the people figure it out. I'm not saying that we take a black highlighter and cross out everything the 'Quran and Bible that we do not like, but certain things, we should look at from a different point of view and from a different angle. I mean Protestants interpret the Bible from a different point of view than Catholics.
@Killzoneguy117 Actually the Protestants have a different Bible than the Catholics, they did in essence, take the highlighter and cross out what they didn't like.
That actually isn't what your prophet's job was. If you read your Quran and ask your own scholars, his job was not only to reveal the words of God but to show you how to interpret and follow them. Otherwise the Quran would have simply been revealed all at once, and there would have been no need for a prophet.
@playthefield21 Now that doesn't mean that Sharia should just be left the way it is. It, like a lot of other things, need to be changed and reformed for this new age. But still, how do we know that things like modern prison practices won't be considered unethical 1500 years from now? We don't.
@KlanGirl311 Tell me, what would happen to all the interracial couples in the country if your idealistic segregation came into effect? I'm guessing that you'd lynch them along with their children. You're a barbaric people who don't deserve to live in any civilized nation, but because we live in freedom of speech we tolerate you.
@KlanGirl311 "The KKK is not about hate" - Seeing as how you people no longer have any credibility or sway in the public I guess you have decided to go for the sneaky modern approach for recruitment as opposed to yelling your true intentions like you did in the 'good ole' days' of the redneck gold age.
Your grammar is atrocious, learn to spell correctly you thick cunt! I also decided to write what i wrote on your wall on mine, seeing as you deleted my comment. Coward. You've lost, go back to Europe.
@hansel22 How are the Black Panther's in any way comparable to the KKk? The Black Panther Party emerged in 1960 as an organized group of black people AGAINST racism, and they subsided in the 1970's. The KKK are a group founded on and inspired by racism, they're completely opposite. Whereas the Black Panther Party was admirable, the KKK are abhorrent.
@playthefield21 They are in now way comparable! The KKK is a peaceful organization, the Black Panthers call for an extermination of the white race. And you say the NBPP are admirable?
@KlanGirl311 LMFAO! The KKK a peaceful organization, now that's funny! The Black Panthers never called for the extermination of the white race, maybe a few over zealous stupid members did, but the organization never officially stated anything of the sort. All they wanted was equality, and if they had to fight with racist pigs to get it then so be it. I'm not surprised you're so ignorant of the truth though, seeing as how your alias is 'KlanGirl'.
@playthefield21 I guess it's not considered to be racist, because they are black. Funny, how many people think only whites can be racist. I bet if the Klan said something like that ("Kill coons, kill some of their babies") we would be disbanded.
@KlanGirl311 The clan was founded on stupidity, ignorance, and racial hatred, by people who DID say 'kill coons and kill some of their babies' and they used to do so until the law stopped them. The Black Panthers were founded out of a desire for equal treatment, and their official position was never one of racial intolerance. It is true that some members said racist things committed hate crimes, but in any organization that size there are bound to be a few dumbasses.
@playthefield21 No, it wasn't! The KKK is not about hate. The only hate we have is for the crimes people commit. Do you know that we only lynched murderers, rapists, robbers, ...? Do you also know that blacks kill more blacks every day, than the Klan killed in 144 years? Crazy, isn't it?
@KlanGirl311 LMFAO! Of COURSE the klan is about hate, i don't know what you've been told, but even other clan members don't deny this. The Klan did not only lynch murderers, rapists, and robbers, i don't know who told you that lie or if you're making that up yourself. They didn't care who they were lynching as long as it was a person of color. The KKK sees every black person or person of any color as a great potential threat.
@playthefield21 No, we aren't. We don't hate others just because of their skin color or their religious beliefs. We would NEVER promote hatred or discriminate against them. We believe in segregation, not supremacy. I see you have been brainwashed by the liberal media :-/
I hope some day you will wake up ... and I hope it happens BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!
@KlanGirl311 You want segregation because you hate people for their skin colors and religious beliefs. You know that you can't have supremacy once more as you did in the past so you're willing to settle for segregation. You're the one who's brainwashed, brainwashed into joining one of the most pathetic groups in the history of the US.
Who do you think you're fooling? Everyone knows what the KKK stands for and its members don't hide their blatant racism.
@playthefield21 No, it's not about hate for other races, but about love for OUR people. We simply promote and practice voluntary segregation, such as not having interracial relationships. If you had read the bible, you would know that race mixing is a sin.
@KlanGirl311 If you only want voluntary segregation than why are you preaching for it? Why do you want it to become a law? Just stay away from black people if you don't like them, why do you care if other people do? Clearly it's because you hate them. The Bible is one of the worst books ever written, anyone who believes in it needs a reality check.
@KlanGirl311 LMFAO! You just can't be reasoned with. By the way, can you please tell me where in the the Bible it says race mixing is a sin? It's not that i'm disputing that the bible says that, it's just i want that as a reference for when i go up against Christians in debate, it'll come in handy as a great indicator of how abhorrent the Bible is.
@Killzoneguy117 No, it's not. Segregation is a wonderful thing. You know, there would be less violence and less crimes in our country? There would be no hatred between the races and nationalities anymore.
@KlanGirl311 You realize that Segregation is basically a result of hate right? playthefield21 has an excellent point when he asks about what will happen to all the interracial couples on earth. Segregation is just a fancy way of saying that all the Black People, Jews, Arabs, Hispanics, Asians and Native Americans get all the shitty property, goods and water while all you white folk get all the good shit. What you propose is exactly what Hitler said to Jews before murdering them by the millions
@Killzoneguy117 You can't convince her. It's not JUST because she doesn't have the intelligence to understand what you're saying, it's because she's also incredibly stubborn and hypocritical.

48:10
62:2
Established the correct Message of Islam (6:161-163) (39:11-12)
Preacher to all humanity (4:170) (25:1) (34:28)
A perfect guide to be followed (7:158)
Basically, if you stray from his teachings/interpretations (hadeeth) you stray from the Quran. His interpretations are the only valid ones period.
