They are sold at paintball stores or online. My particular weapon that I use is an Echo1 brand M-4. $150-$190 depending on where you buy it. It is full metal and is close to the weight of a real M-4.
You can get just about any weapon there is, in airsoft form so you are training with what you have in real life.
No. we use Drums with 100 rounds for our AR-15's. Some of this video footage was just playing around and practice fire and maneuver. We always take time away from training for recreation. These aren't U.S. Marines. They're firefighters, shop owners, computer techs, etc.. They aren't getting paid to spend 7 days a week on hard corps training. They are there to meet people and learn some tactics.

I believe you may be confusing militias and airsoft teams. quite possibly, both American and foreign military troops that could be used to quell civil unrest and/or set up martial law. Then there are airsoft groups which vary from hardcore MilSim (Military Simulation) groups to groups of friends that get together every now and then and run around and shoot each other. These groups are actually easy to find if you do a simple google search with the name of your town/city or state and the words "airsoft group" or "airsoft team". Do not confuse militias...

they can't shoot very far, only about 20 or 30 yards. after that they start to curve so your accuracy drops like a rock. And if its windy you can just forget it, you won't hit anything. If you're going to train with airsoft make sure you have the most powerful gun, otherwise its not very realistic.
PSI varies greatly between guns. The effective range of the weapon is about 20 - 30 yards as stated above with a flat trajectory. Beyond that, the bb's travel 100 yards, but your target may not know they are hit with heavy clothing on.

They reach out and touch you at a descent distance. They definately do the job for mout training. We do some rural training as well, but the range on the weapon forces you to close in pretty tight with the enemy.

They are sold at paintball stores or online. My particular weapon that I use is an Echo1 brand M-4. $150-$190 depending on where you buy it. It is full metal and is close to the weight of a real M-4.
You can get just about any weapon there is, in airsoft form so you are training with what you have in real life.

No. we use Drums with 100 rounds for our AR-15's. Some of this video footage was just playing around and practice fire and maneuver. We always take time away from training for recreation. These aren't U.S. Marines. They're firefighters, shop owners, computer techs, etc.. They aren't getting paid to spend 7 days a week on hard corps training. They are there to meet people and learn some tactics.

I have an m4 and glock 40 cal in real life, so thats what I use when doing airsoft training.
However, in a real life situation, I would rather sit back a thousand meters with my 6.5mm sniper rifle. Gotta be prepared for anything though.

depends. they can both draw blood. i have played paintball and one hit me in the head and i was bleeding never gotten hit by airsoft.

quite possibly, both American and foreign military troops that could be used to quell civil unrest and/or set up martial law. Then there are airsoft groups which vary from hardcore MilSim (Military Simulation) groups to groups of friends that get together every now and then and run around and shoot each other. These groups are actually easy to find if you do a simple google search with the name of your town/city or state and the words "airsoft group" or "airsoft team". Do not confuse militias...

shame it's airsoft... completely inaccurate... ok for practicing tactics and whatnot but simunitions would be a tad more realistic... you should concentrate more on room clearing, group movement, and squad cohesion than playing... i hope i am not insulting you - but what i just watched didn't make me think of you guys as a solid unit.., it looked like a bunch of guys screwing off... I still support you and your ideals - but you should rethink your 'training'

you need a law enforcement connection - it is not generally available for individual sale. :) I didn't say it was easy - just that it'd be more realistic and people wouldnt be running around without fear...

they can't shoot very far, only about 20 or 30 yards. after that they start to curve so your accuracy drops like a rock. And if its windy you can just forget it, you won't hit anything. If you're going to train with airsoft make sure you have the most powerful gun, otherwise its not very realistic.

PSI varies greatly between guns. The effective range of the weapon is about 20 - 30 yards as stated above with a flat trajectory. Beyond that, the bb's travel 100 yards, but your target may not know they are hit with heavy clothing on.

At that range........ you know..... *Looks at the red whelps on his arm* I edited out the cussing when people got shot HAHA.
They reach out and touch you at a descent distance. They definately do the job for mout training. We do some rural training as well, but the range on the weapon forces you to close in pretty tight with the enemy.
