  • i think the guys that run SS/K's are moving to GT/I's... GT/I's sound better idling to me

  • EatMorePink wrote, "GT/I's sound better idling to me".

I hope you were just kidding.

  • nope

  • Why?

  • EatMorePink,

Are you aware of the differences, or lack thereof?

  • lemme guess your gonna tell me ther isnt a difference & the only reason the gt/i i know of cackles crazier than the ss/k's ive seen is cuz it has different headers to make it sound like that

  • A 1966 Chevy II with a 283/stick can fall into either class... SS/K or GT/I. In GT/I, they can claim that the engine is from a different car, claim a lower HP rating, and therefore run the car with less weight. The only thing different is the lettering on the window and the weight of the car.

Yes, headers can affect the sound of an engine.

  • awesome?

  • Super cool video, you gotta love those jericos.

  • i miss the modified production class, i had a friend that ran a Monza in the 70's, 292 cu in, 5 speed , left the line at 11,000 and shifted at 10,000, it was a screamer

  • thats the way it should be. high winding, gear jamming, real race car drivers.

  • wow, are those small blocks sipping on any juice
