Thanks for your quick response. I have been drooling over the Polar Express set but unfortunately we have a small house and only have room for HO scale sets. Very cool layout! I just completed my first Christmas tree layout made with HO scale, but it's just a simple oval, with a church, train station, cars and people. Yours is very interesting and I must admit the Polar Express train seems to be very well designed. What is your opinion of it as a train set?

@lfroboz I am very happy with the Polar Express set. The engine and tender are solidly made and have given me no problems. The whole set has met all of me expectations, including the transformer. I recommend it to anyone thinking about it.

Oh and another thing: Did all that track come in the train set box, or did you have to buy more to extend the layout?

@DralionROBLOX Train set only comes with 8 curved track and 4 straight to make an oval. You need to buy everything else.

Thanks for your comment. The track used is O Gauge Fastrack. It's the track that comes with most train sets Lionel puts out now.

That is a Nice little layout,If i ran mine that fast it would probably derail. I just finished one around my sons ceiling and used 0-27 which is a Pretty Sharp Curve but from what i hear you can run The Polar on it?
