@wildpinkrainbow absolutely - you dont have to fuss as much for every day - this is when you are dancing & spinning around on stage & your hair has to stay exactly in place
Katrina is so and where do you get the sparkly hair spray? Also for the bun you can buy pretty bun covers at ballets dance stores they're really nice and pretty
@XxxXJessXxxXilysm you can get the spray at dance stores & some drug stores. You can also combine fine glitter in gel and make your own (wont be spray - but you can control the amount of glitter)
im a dancer and my hair is pretty short so its kinda hard for my hair 2 go into a bun but my dads girl friend did it jst fine but my mom cant! i had 2 do a plain pony tail for my recital a couple weeks ago! but the second night i did a bun cuz i spent the night with my dad!
What if you had bangs and you didn't want to pull them back off your forehead? Would they still take away points? And if your not doing flips and stuff in your routine than can you just do a pony? Or does it have to be a bun?
@Cheerbabeforeverable It may depend on your hair type. We dont find 8 enough for all the spins & going upside down plus controling the little strands and fly aways
people!!!!!! this is for performing on stage NOT FOR EVERY DAY, i am a dancer and when ever we have our recitals or competions our hair has to be perfect { this is key for competions cause you will lose points if your hair isn't perfect or falling out .so you have to use a lot of bobby pins and use a lot of hairspray/gel so your hair doesn't fall out when your dancing
you don't have to use loads of pins to make the bun. just buy a hair donut or rolypoly. and getting a bun net would be better because they are designed for buns, so you won't have to twist and go over the bun.
@nelliekenukiluzzi It wouldn't be necessary for every day - just for stage. You can lose points if you don't have your costume/grooming act together & you really need lots of pins for the hair to stay in when you are doing flips & spins etc.
@mammabutterfly751 That clip was actually one from a dance costume. Since this video is meant for performers, there are often big clips and pieces that have to be attached to the hair. So this video was to show how to best secure them so they don't fly off on stage.
because it is still uploading (there is still a green bar above the video that says something like "quality will improve after uploading complete" , if you try back later, it should be great, actually the quality of this one turned out with great detail...

wildpinkrainbow 5 months ago
@wildpinkrainbow usually it depends on your studio - but if you get one that is similar to your hair color, you dont even see it on stage

When I'm dancing I have to wear a thick hairnet and it's supposed to be noticeable.
crazystarism585 10 months ago
on stage is it noticeable that u are wearing a hair net?
popx598 10 months ago
@popx598 No - as long as you get a color similar to your hair color
