  • young purple girl is so cute *0*

    i like her!! :DD

  • Can you guys do a ' how to curl a ponytail tutorial'?

  • i cant find bun pins, can i just stretch out bobby pins so theres space?

  • no i just wanna wear it to school so can i still without a hairnet?

  • @wildpinkrainbow absolutely - you dont have to fuss as much for every day - this is when you are dancing & spinning around on stage & your hair has to stay exactly in place

  • i love the video but can i use something else other than a hairnet because it doesnt look to goo. can u leave it out?

  • @wildpinkrainbow usually it depends on your studio - but if you get one that is similar to your hair color, you dont even see it on stage

  • love the vid!!!!! why diden't sloane get her hair done?

  • This is a good video but the bun is kinda "door knob-y". But I love how it shows everything step by step.:)

  • Katrina is so and where do you get the sparkly hair spray? Also for the bun you can buy pretty bun covers at ballets dance stores they're really nice and pretty

  • @XxxXJessXxxXilysm you can get the spray at dance stores & some drug stores. You can also combine fine glitter in gel and make your own (wont be spray - but you can control the amount of glitter)

  • im a dancer and my hair is pretty short so its kinda hard for my hair 2 go into a bun but my dads girl friend did it jst fine but my mom cant! i had 2 do a plain pony tail for my recital a couple weeks ago! but the second night i did a bun cuz i spent the night with my dad!

  • This is such a great vid :) For ballroom exams you always have to wear your hair in a bun.I dont know what happens if you dont :P

    thanx Catherine x

  • What if you had bangs and you didn't want to pull them back off your forehead? Would they still take away points? And if your not doing flips and stuff in your routine than can you just do a pony? Or does it have to be a bun?

  • @randidanca Usually - you gel your bangs back

  • What would happen if you had bangs and you didn't want them pulled back off your head? Would you still lose points?

  • the lady used way to much jell

  • im a dancer... but seriously? 25 pins!? i use about 5 for class, and 8 for the stage!!

25 would just be downright painful :(

  • @Cheerbabeforeverable It may depend on your hair type. We dont find 8 enough for all the spins & going upside down plus controling the little strands and fly aways

  • people!!!!!! this is for performing on stage NOT FOR EVERY DAY, i am a dancer and when ever we have our recitals or competions our hair has to be perfect { this is key for competions cause you will lose points if your hair isn't perfect or falling out .so you have to use a lot of bobby pins and use a lot of hairspray/gel so your hair doesn't fall out when your dancing

  • @purplegal597 shes rite, i do gymnastics and we get deductions if our hair isnt PERFECT.

  • @HotTherapy101 I know i do exams and the hair has to be like perfect! Stresses me out sometimes!

  • When I'm dancing I have to wear a thick hairnet and it's supposed to be noticeable.

  • on stage is it noticeable that u are wearing a hair net?

  • @popx598 No - as long as you get a color similar to your hair color

  • I wish I had bun pins!! I've never even seen them before!

  • you don't have to use loads of pins to make the bun. just buy a hair donut or rolypoly. and getting a bun net would be better because they are designed for buns, so you won't have to twist and go over the bun.

  • @tishtashhmrssash True - this is meant more for performing on stage - when you are spinning or flipping & your hair has to stay perfect

  • this was cool. maybe my mom will do that to my hair.

  • wooow all of tht for just one bun?

  • @nelliekenukiluzzi It wouldn't be necessary for every day - just for stage. You can lose points if you don't have your costume/grooming act together & you really need lots of pins for the hair to stay in when you are doing flips & spins etc.

  • Cool vid

  • This is awesome! Thanks for teaching us this video.

  • thanks a lot.

  • THANKS!

  • Emily is so cute :3 How old is she?

  • WHO TIED IT FOR U

  • how old r u gals ,u all hv pretty face

  • This will work on my next gymnastics competition

  • i think you did a good job on the bun but it looks like too much with the sparkly clip

  • @mammabutterfly751 That clip was actually one from a dance costume. Since this video is meant for performers, there are often big clips and pieces that have to be attached to the hair. So this video was to show how to best secure them so they don't fly off on stage.

  • this is good because im a dancer

  • @myscene128 Usually at a drug store or a beauty supply store. Goody makes them.

  • Does she has highlights???My mom said that when you get highlights your hair will get dry???!!Is that True???

  • i'm in folklorico so the bun is always high. for the dance team to my teacher prefers it

  • This is really cool !!

  • Why does that little girl's bun stick out from her head so much?!?!? It should be flatter, wider and rounder.

  • you're right. my fault. thanks for explaining.

  • The quility isn't bad on mine, it's high-defo on my laptop :P

  • why is the quality so bad on this one? your videos are usually nice and hi-def.

  • because it is still uploading (there is still a green bar above the video that says something like "quality will improve after uploading complete" , if you try back later, it should be great, actually the quality of this one turned out with great detail...
