well yea I know that twilight is a series of books too (and is good)....but really I don't know who was release first....but really I don't think that is really very important who was first....because they are really good ...Vampire Knight and Twilight....thought I'm not a big fan of Twilight...I think that story from VK are more interesting that Twilight (but is a good movie)
