it's so sad that joel wasn't on many other shows after he quit, how the hell am i supposed to carry on obsessing after watching his stand up, freaks and geeks and mst3k?!!?! there's no where left for me to turn!
I prefer the nutty made up stuff from the early years. Later on, after Joel left, it got a little too predictable and tightly scripted for me. Still good, just not as silly.
I kind of liked it when the host segments would just meander on like this. It reminds me of my childhood, playing around in the basement with my cousins where all the sciencey and computer stuff was.
Let me clue you in on how big of a MST3K-family I am from: My brother's name is Joey and when he was first born, my dad sang this to him. And I had no idea until I saw this movie/ episode. MST is oncovering family inside jokes.
@smartbunny I love Joel. without him, there would be no mst3k, but you must admit, he was not the best at delivering lines. Ever see him do stand-up? AGENT JOEL.
